Basou- Just out of curiosity... The featured list on the android app. Can that be changed? If anything can at least the current simulcasts be on there and the ones that ended more than a season ago be removed? Hunter x Hunter and Chihayafuru are not on the list; and Bridge to the starry skies, Cat God, Sacred Seven, Saint Seiya, We Without Wings, and Yuru Yuri have all ended but they are still there. I hate having to go to the everything list just to get to Hunter x Hunter and Chihayafuru. They should be "featured" along with the other simulcasts.

Also: Can a personal type list be made in its stead for people who want to watch certain simulcasts? Like a watchlist type thing instead of a list of stuff that I don't watch/finished watching >_>

Working on DRMing videos so we can stream in higher quality for all our supported apps.

I'll check the simulcast listing so it's accurate.

The Queue feature is planned to be added to all apps including Android which makes it easy to manage what you're watching but we're currently busy with super secret projects.

You can watch for free over WiFi through the app. Access to the latest episodes and ability to watch over 3G/4G is for Premium Members.

Though, if you have Adobe Flash, you can watch over 3G, 4G, WiFi or whatever through our mobile site.

Thanks ^_^ You've always been quick whenever I had an issue so its very helpful.

Though regarding what Steph (the poster above me) said, it's rare for me but on occasion when I try to jump to a certain part of an ep or hit the fast-forward/rewind button a few times the episode will close out and take me back to the episode description. This usually happens when I am on 3G at work (I know, I shouldn't be watching at work). I work in an area with limited signal because I am surrounded by lead (radiology dept at a hospital, I usually try to get an episode in on my lunch break) so I chalked it up to being too much strain on a weak signal when it came to my end. Wasn't aware this might have another source, can you look into that? Thanks~

I'll have to admit, that Crunchyroll Android app is really good, thanks from it!

Altough, I'm usually having an annoying problem: when I try to watch some anime that has come like 2 hours earlier before I watch them, a text comes before starting, what says: "Sorry -- this video can't be shown in your country or device", even though I can actually watch normally other videos.
So, what could be the problem? And unfortunately, I really can't think anything that could help..

Its likely that even though its a couple hours after the anime gets released on the site its most likely not coded for the device yet. It usually takes them a 2-4 hours. There was one time that an episode of Nichijou took over 14 hours to appear on the app so I guess it will vary by who is working that day.

Edit: Sometimes it will also give that message if you have a connection problem.

Okay I have a tech problem to report for the Crunchyroll Android app:

About a month or so ago the screen when watching anime started going several sizes too big for the screen of my tablet.. I see the top right edge of the picture, but everything else is off screen. I am using a 10-inch Viewsonic G-Tablet running the latest GTabComb. The screen is normal size when watching drama and movies. I have not reported until now because I have hoped the updates coming down the line would fix it.

I am not a Premium Member, just in case you guys require that information.

Also, I have uninstalled the Crunchyroll app and deleted any files it left behind, then tried reinstalling it and this did not help my problem.

Thank you.

I am having an issue with my iPhone app. Whenever I try to watch I get sent back to the beginning of the episode with in the first 5 minutes. Then it won't let my fast forward to where I was and if I just try to watch it from there it does the same thing. Is anyone else have this problem, and is there some way to fix it?

We do not have a Kindle Fire so we can not guarantee that our app will work. As long as it has the ability to decode our videos (it's being toted as a multimedia device so I would assume it can) and they didn't tinker with Android OS too much, it should work fine but it does seem like they did some tinkering so we'll have to wait and see.

However, due to the popularity of the Kindle Fire even before it has been released, we are likely to get one to make sure our app works.

The Crunchyroll app is available on the Amazon Store, and when I load it I see the normal screen (used it before on a much cheaper device), with Beelzebub, two other shows, Chihayafuru, Fairy Tail, Fate Zero shown under Featured.

As soon as it starts, the screen gets locked up while it says "Refreshing Data. Please wait."; it stays at 0% 0/100 forever.

So no, it doesn't work right now. At least the Amazon Store version doesn't.

EDIT: scratch that! I pressed the search button (I think -- I can't reproduce the bug to try it again) and "Refreshing Data' went away. It now works fine.

If you're referring to the video being off the screen, that would most likely be an issue with the video player on your device since, all we do is feed the video to the device's default video player.

Sir,

Alright, thank you for the quick response. I will go back over what I have installed video player wise over the past month and see what is causing the problem. Thanks again.
