Apologies, I guess I misunderstood you initially.
I do not believe that we currently have plans to bring forum access to the apps.

I'll pass this suggestion along to the development team.

Thank you very much for understanding.. I was actually looking at my last post and noticed I was unclear and writing extra stuff that doesnt matter to CR. sometimes I think I'm in a dev forum like XDA-Dev.... sorry for confusing you.

Hello,

I'm a "longtime" premium CR member, and I've been quite addicted to watching 720p and 1080p videos on my laptop.

This week, I finally got myself an Android Tablet running ICS (the new Sony Xperia S), with the hopes that I would be still be able to watch streaming HD video from my tablet through HDMI to my TV.

As the CR Android app isn't HD yet, I tried Chrome which didn't recognize Flash being installed, and the stock browser, which ended up crashing the tablet.

Finally, I tried Firefox, and SUCCESS! I just wanted to share that with any ICS Android tablet folks that have a similar HD video addiction like me. I was happily able to watch some Tari Tari!

If you need beta testers for an HD version of the CR app let me know!

Edit Update:

A minor note/follow up. Load the video without being connected to HDMI. Put the app into full screen mode, THEN connect to HDMI. Works great for me now that I've been able to figure out the sequencing. Good luck everyone!

I'm using my nexus 7 due to the new ipad patch that is very buggy. Unfortunately its got problems for me too. It has a ghosting effect going on. It will change scenes but sometimes it doesn't redraw the scan or something and you see them overlay each other. /sigh. At least the web version works hassle free. Thank goodness. Just can't watch it in bed.

I think the only bugs I'm encountering are already reported. On a tablet, when it is in a forced Landscape mode (like an Asus Transformer in its keyboard dock), the menu items (like listings of series or episodes) do not appear, Even though it appears that the tablet is attempted to be put back into portrait mode (back,home,recent-apps buttons and status bar go to the short side).

This could be a bug with JellyBean as back on ICS I was not getting this issue.
I'm sure this is probably already reported, but I thought that I might re-report it, just in case.

Getting the ability to choose from the menus in Landscape would be appreciated as well. Especially since the shows play in that mode to begin with.

Just tried the app out on my new Kindle Fire HD 7". Looks like it works pretty well except the queue only displays 9 of the titles, with no next page or other icon. It says "updating 14/14" when I hit refresh, though.

Also, it would be really nice if the queue page had some indicator (ala the website or the currently-broken iOS app) to show which of the items in your queue has new videos available.

Application version os "0.6.5.4817", and I'm logged in. The same experience happens whether or not the "enable new tablet interface" is checked.

Thanks!
