The screenshot is from Ep. 2 at 14:15 mark, but this happened in all the episodes not just this specific one. The screenshot is just to show what's happening.

Thanks, I just wanted to test it on my device to see if it does it as well. Some Asus and Samsung devices have some codec issues with certain videos, and I was checking to see if it was related to that. However, since my phone did the same thing in episode 2 that means the encode is messed up.

The best option is to keep note of all of the episodes that have this problem that you come across, and then report them to the Crunchyroll support team through the following link so that they can re-encode the episodes that have the artifacts. BazouKazuma is usually pretty quick about getting new encodes pushed through.

Newest episodes won't play. Says something like its not available for my phone yet, or we will makes this available for you device soon. But all the other videos work fine. I am a pay per month subscriber, I am logged on in the app, I have the latest app version and my phone is android HTC raider. Please help

Not just the newest on my phone. Every episode will not play. I've tried 10+ episodes from 10 different shows. Every time I get the following message.

There was a problem playing the video. Please try again, or contact support if the problem persists. This is on my LG Optimus. It worked great yesterday.

I'm also having some trouble. I'm currently running with an older phone. A. Samsung Intercept with the newest update of the app. The app refuses to let me watch Kateikyo Hitman Reborn episode 111. And since episode 45, it has been giving me screen troubles. The current issue is that when I select the video, it plays the advertisment, then goes to a black screen for about 5 minute, then force closes the app, returns me to the main screen that's completely blank except for the "Home", "Queue", etc and then about 1 minute later, further force closes me to my home screen. And it does this each and EVERY single time I attempt to watch episode 111 of REBORN! But, it doesn't give me any trouble with any other series to my knowledge.

Please get back to me on this issue as soon as possible. I really enjoy your app, and it would be a shame if I had to permanently uninstall due to this inconvenience.

Bjaker,

After unistall and install for 3 times (don't ask me why) it started working like before. Problem solved.

Now, I have one more issue that is driving me crazy: when watching the episodes on the tablet, or through Samsung SmartTV app, a lot of times the episode doesn't jump to the next automatically, even if you watched everything or if you give stop at the end. What you have to do in order to jump for the next is go to videos and choose the next one. At the tablet (SAMSUNG Galaxy 10.1) sometimes it starts to jump automatically, sometimes it gets stuck in my queue at a previous watched episode, and don't move forward anymore, even if I watch the newest ones. At the TV what happens is, after watching the selected episode through the episodes list menu, when it returns gives an error message and send you back to the queue menu, not the series episode menu, and usually it starts to jump correctly to the next, no stuck episode in this case.
May I suggest in the TV Samsung app to give us option to jump to the beginning/end of the list? Can you imagine you having to watch the latest Naruto Shippu and start from episode 1 jumping by 20's? At the TV it's not easy to jump screens like the pads/computers.

I'm using a Google Nexus 10.

As I see it, there are two options for watching Crunchyroll on the tablet:

1. The app. This is not ideal, because the video quality is really, really, really bad, especially on the 10" screen. I bought this tablet in large part so I could watch 1080p or at least 720p.

2. Forced install of Flash, using the Firefox Beta. This works and I can play the videos in 1080p with beautiful quality and no hiccups...
...except the subtitles lag when I view on the normal video page, and don't display at all when I fullscreen it.

This is very very frustrating, to say the least. Am I just completely out of luck? (I tried skimming the thread but it's 70+ pages long now, so forgive me if I missed anything.)

I seem to bee having a swell time time running the AOKP rom on the Gtab 2.. no new apk issues here
I noticed my nexus 7/cm10 started to glitch... I have a codec fix for this....and changed my dpi settings.
My transformer/ cm9 has no problems with the recent APK release as well.

Is CR gonna make 720p or 1080p avail. for tablets?
I ve been wanting to see the performance of 720p or 1080p on my tab.

Yet another issue to report. Still having trouble with REBORN! To review, those issues are force closing, codec issues one second, then fine the next. And, of course audio being played, but no video being displayed. My new issue is the blending if images when I try to watch Hunter X Hunter. In fact, that's been an issue with every series I watch. And of course, there's video lags, audio lags, mid-video freezing, the video refusing to buffer altogether, play control issues... I mean, this is annoying. I know that I'm using the free version, but I had these issues when I was a premium member with my old account, hey2007. The poor app maintanence is why I decided not to renew my anime member ship in the first place. If you guys can't even keep the app running smoothly for free users, why should I pay for it? This is an issue that needs to be fixed. I know first hand how difficult it is to maintain a video app (I've done so myself), but the quality for the age of the app on the market is just ridiculously low. Please, prioritize the the issues with your app, and push out more bug fixes. Otherwise, I will be forced to uninstall. And I definitely won't be renewing my anime membership until I can consistently see decent quality from the free version. I'm not about to waste my money on an unreliable service. :/

are the images ghosting?
I don't see any problems playing those with my tablets
