whenever i try to log onto my account with the free trial running on my account the app keeps telling me that i should upgrade before watching even though i have the free trial running it never happened to me before its so confusing....... someone please explain

Been a premium member for a little while. Got a Nexus 10 for Christmas, so I decided I'd finally take advantage of Crunchyroll's Android app.

I didn't think it could be this bad. The videos don't even load. I just get stuck at a black screen. The app didn't crash - when I hit back it brought me back to the episode list - but no videos worked. I tried it on the Nexus 10 (4.2.1), a Galaxy Nexus (4.2.1), and a Droid Incredible (2.2).

Plus, the UI forces a portrait orientation. Not so bad on phones, but on tablets, it makes using the app a chore.

How can I fix this? I've reinstalled the app multiple times.

If you wanna watch anime on your i assume tablet (or phone), I recommend youtube. If you're UK most arnt licened for this region, but Heroic Age,Gundam 00, The legend of the legendary heroes, the tower of Dru.. summit or another and others are.

If its the new ones you wanna watch, there's other places.

As opposed to why, does logging into crunchy on the computer accept the free trial?

Download Firefox (which has flash player) and use the website instead. If it's too much hassle to navigate to the website, make a link for it on the Desktop, or what ever it's called on Android.

Yes, it makes no difference. Neither does restarting the device.

I'm using a kindle fire hd and iPhone4 s . crunchyroll app shows everything but the video itself . uninstalled, reinstalled,logged in and out tons of times and still doesn't work.......

The app isn't working on any of those devices. More specifically, I can open the app view all the video titles, etc. but when I click to play there's just a black screen. I wait for it to load but doesn't even show the loading icon. It just sits there in limbo. It doesn't freeze or anything because I can click back. Just all videos don't play.

Anything from Episode 102 onwards of Reborn is not working on my Droid. :/


Edit: Tried all solutions given. Phone is a Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus.
