App is working fine for me on my Samsung Galaxy SIII. I just have a couple of feature suggestions:

-HD videos. Everything looks great as-is, but why let all those extra pixels on my 720p screen go to waste?
-push notifications telling me when there are new videos for the shows I have in my queue would be great

Thanks for the app and keep up the good work.

I'm having trouble on my galaxy note 2 with loading videos. My queue is there, but the screen goes blank when I try to play an episode. My phone is still on, the movie just isn't loading. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I have the same problem.

i agree. 2012 Android users now have at least 720p displays and 1080p is now the new norm for 2013 flagship devices. unlimited data is now also available on certain carriers. i have a Galaxy Note II and i'd love to have 720p streaming. i'm also sure Xperia Z/Galaxy S4/HTC One users would love to have 1080p streaming as well.

Need a "Search" bar with automated suggestions when you type like this website does for you. It's too much of a hassle scrolling down and looking for a title. I know there's an "Alphabetical" index but even then you still have to scroll through that list to find the exact title you want to watch.

Videos don't seem to be playing back in actual 1080P. Or High-Definition on Crunchyroll app. I know it's not suggested but I can actually watch 1080P if I navigate to this site and log in using Firefox with Adobe Flash Player installed on my Nexus 7. With that, why can't the app do the same? Of course, I'm a premium user.

The last update this app had was in December 27, 2012. That's a few months ago. I hope to see a new update with these suggestions at least. It's been 3 months now. I'm hoping to see version 0.8.0 by the end of this month!

Whenever I play a video on my galaxy note 10.1, everything works fine (ie the sound plays and the time/progress bar is moving) but the video is black. I'd like to be able to actually watch stuff on my tablet instead of having to watch it on my desktop computer.

When are you looking to get the app finished for the HD 8.9?

Sounds like a funky rendering issue. The only time I had an issue like that was on my uber old HTC Hero. Hardware just couldn't do it.

Anyway, I digress. Have you tried wiping the app data or just uninstall-then-reinstall yet?

turned my APK auto update off at 0.7.9, but that might be the last time it was updated..... I am thinking 0.7.7 would be the one I am looking for ot 0.7.6 if you have it

Edit: until 0.8.0 APK is released I would like to use an earlier version if possible. thank you for you help and concern.

You've got mail!

thanks a bunch bro

Congrats Now could the rest of unhappy campers (me included) somehow get a download link for this old apk version with a properly working queue and history?

Hello there. Any updates? When accessing the queue, the android application still fails and asks me to "contact support". Does my post in this forum qualify as contacting support? Android 2.2 on Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 here.

And probably you already know, but the older version of crunchyroll application used to work just fine. I was careless enough to do the "upgrade". This is known as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_regression and I wonder how crunchyroll normally deals with this kind of bugs. Thanks.

I also have a galaxy note 10.1 and am having the same issue. After trying so many things, I found one workaround for me. When I select an episode, I need to hold my tablet up straight (portrait). Keep it up like that and wait for the ad to finish and video start to play. After the video is started, I can then turn it side way to watch the video.

I am not sure what the deal is, but I can now watch all videos using the workaround on my galaxy note. By the way, I also have a galaxy tab 2, but that one works just fine.

Go ahead and give it a try and let us know if this workaround woks for you too.

The only issue I noticed, may just be an issue with my phone

But it seems that a lot of times if I stop a video midway to go to say, my desktop, then go back, streaming won't resume and will pull up an error. force closing the app and resuming fixes this.

But like I said, it may have been an issue with my phone, as for some reason some apps won't connect to data until i close the app and reopen.

Just discovered the 'droid app and it works well enough on my Samsung Galaxy SII (upgraded to Jelly Bean) over wi-fi. I'm running version 0.7.9 of the app.

Main gripe is with the alphabetical show list tab. Without an A-Z quick index to jump to a letter it takes a helluva long time to scroll down to "The Pet Girl of Sakura Hall"

Would be good to get at least 720p or 1080p output, as I have a HDMI adaptor for the phone so it can plug into a video projector. I mostly watch on a old laptop PC plugged into a 28" LCD TV via VGA but the laptop isn't fast enough to show more than 480p. My phone has more processing power than my PC

Apparently it is going to be a while. Over in the premium user forum, BK stated their Android developer went on leave in January and recently confirmed they are not returning. So aside from having to shop for a new developer, that person would need to get up to speed with the current code, etc..
