I like all three of them the same. I cant really understand how one can like only one of them and hate the other 2

1.Naruto Shippuden is unique due to the fact that even some of the good guys die...so its already special due to that fact alone....its not easy to figure out who wins what battle and whatnot.

2. Bleach well......The fights are cool I will give it that. However sooner or later...fighting with swords might get dull. I hated the way the
ended...but that fight was pretty awesome regardless...just like all the fights in Bleach....I mean they have some of the most bad ass characters in anime....like Kenpachi

3. One Piece is just epic...the fight scenes are extremely epic....the
fight was the most epic fight of the entire series so far and it probably was the best out of all the fights that each of these 3 shows had. Plus One Piece has comedy....tho I dont really laugh at it but a lot of others do. One piece is very good

K now lets look at why people would hate all 3 of these together.

First off...if you dont like fighting animes to beging with....no shit they arent going to like these.

Second...any shounen anime that lasts long is BOUND to have fillers...no matter what. The only shows that can not have fillers are slice of life animes.....since every episode would be just like what the anime is about. So really...hating a shounen anime due to fillers....doesnt really seem like a good excuse to me. Seriously, if you took all the fillers out of Shounen anime...I bet practially 70 percent of the people who say they hate these shows would like them.

Third...The storytelling. I dont think people can understand that the quality of a long fighting animes storyline can't possibly be compared to a 13 episode anime. These fighting animes HAVE to have long drawn out plots or otherwise it wouldnt make sense. Like One Piece's plot is to find One Piece.......Naruto Shippudens plot is for Naruto to become Hokage.....Bleach....well Bleach doesnt have one really at this point but lets just say its to stop Aizen. Yes all 3 of these plots mean that the time it takes to reach their goals could be a very long time....but hey...thats what makes these animes great is the longevity they have and how new enemies and new characters in general keep coming.

People cant understand that the longer an anime is...the more its going to have to have some of those *boring....fillers....informative...etc* episodes so people can understand where its going. I mean heres a thought......what fighting anime had over 200 episodes and was a hell lot better than these? Maybe you can answer it...but my guess is that no one can....why would that be? Because they arent from what I see.

Longevity and fillers are the number 1 reason people cant seem to like these animes.

Heres another example....I've seen comments about Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou....and thats a fighting anime.....and most of them have been positive....now why is that? That shows characters dont seem to be a hell like more likeable then any of the characters from the above shows. What else could it be? Well the anime is short so it has more episodes with relatively more impact than an anime with a longer span. Hmm what else? Could it be Sai Akutos a complete badass? Dont see how any of the main characters from the above anime couldnt be classified as that. But did I mention how the plot makes no shit of sense and the anime is rushed? But it seems people miss that part....which I think is a fundamental thing to have in anime....so it makes me think people just want non stop action without any logical flow to it.

Though I will say this....and this has plagued any type of anime.....long or short....since anime has started. And that would be the Deus Ex Machina. Any anime that uses this is pretty much destined to be disliked....whether it be for that particular episode...or for the whole series..I dont mind it too much if Emotion=Power....but if they use it more than once....then it kinda gets lame....Fairy Tail does this quite often....Bleach does it......Naruto....eh....sometimes but not to the extent of the rest....One Piece....does it too....but not to the same degree as the others. I mean I think we all hate it when someone gets their ass kicked and right before they are beaten they become super powerful all of a sudden and thenw in...now thats flat out gay.

I dont know...sometimes I think comparing 200+ episodes to anime that r 26 and under....just doesnt seem like a good comparison.

I've watched a few episodes of each; they never grabbed me or compelled me to continue the series.

Its not hating, I just dont like the story behind it and the art of One Piece isn't so great either.
I also just get pissed of by all those fillers, I heard that five episodes did go about one damn fight in Bleach?!

Naruto - I only saw two episodes but couldn't get into it.

Bleach - Sometimes I'll miss a few episodes because the plot moves too slowly and drags on for awhile. Other than that it's okay. The thing that brings me back to it are the Arrancar.

One Piece - Damn english dub killed it for me! Well that and I can't decide whether to watch Fairy Tail or One Piece.

Naruto.. Eh. It has some good stories here and there but overall It's getting kinda ridicolous. It kinda just went downhill after the Zabusa arc and was only kept alive by a few really good action sequenses (Like the Chouji fight just before the time skip or Naruto vs. Pain)

I guess the main problem I have with the series is the character of Sasuke. He was tolerable at first but he's become pretty annoying though I can't put my finger on why, I'll stick to the end though or else all this time has been wasted.

Bleach is good, The thing I like the best about that series is The anime openings, Though I'd kinda wish they'd end the current arc already.

I have absolutely no problem with One Piece, Skypia was a pain but otherwise it's wonderful.

well i don't really like those animes because well, thier fanbase is pretty much messed up and the series is pretty long and i don't really keep up with animes with alot of episodes. the charaters of naruto and bleach, i don't really like thier character set up. and im not to fond of thier plot of the 3 shows. it just seems too strange or something else to me.

I can entirely understand why people wouldn't like them, given how recycled and repetitive the whole shounen fighting genre is. I don't have much love for the genre as whole myself, but there are a few that I like. Mostly the shorter ones like Kurokami, Claymore, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Kaze no Stigma, Buso Renkin, Scryed, Needless, X TV, and recently Kekaishi, The longer they get though, the less interesting they become. I do like Naruto, Naruto: Shippuden, Bleach, D.Gray-Man, Rurouni Kenshin, Fist of the North Star, and Yu Yu Hakusho though.

this is offtopic, but if other animes didn't stop at 13, 24, 26, episodes and actually followed their manga counter parts they would been a bigger success and its a DAMN shame they didn't. MORE BERSERK.

why people might hate the big 3. well the protagonists style at getting stronger wasn't that unique. They have a obstacle they overcome it. just keep winning and winning they're battles.. Compared to other shows from the beginning the characters were all roided out which i liked. fist of the north star and berserk.
But, I like the big 3 and believe this to be order of the shows. 1.one piece 2.naruto 3. bleach. Are they the best shows around hell no.
Most popular yes.

That's not entirely true.

Anime like Gintama, Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! & Eyeshield 21 are more than 100 episodes but their successes are nothing like that of the Big 3's. There's also Prince of Tennis, Inuyasha and a lot more.

BTW a lot of people seem to like Berserk, maybe I should check it out.

Well i was disappointed that a lot of my fav animes ended soon like gantz and claymore. Berserk is awesome and as soon as you finish it you'll need to start the manga to appreciate it. inuyasha was also a good one. I haven't got to watch the new episodes yet though. So much anime !!!!

Most popular yes.

For Japan at least, you got the order right. The ratings in Japan for One Piece from week to week are typically more than that for Naruto and Bleach combined. (For the numbers, check out http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-350782/japanese-anime-tv-ranking/?pg=28#31770130 ).

It isn't as if they are #1 - #3 in TV ratings for Japan either, although at least One Piece makes that top tier consistently.

Popularity of the series worldwide is rather more difficult to judge. It isn't as if there is a single source in most countries (especially the U.S.) to look to for numbers.
