The really sad thing, is that his short stature wasn't genetic, but was caused by the drugs he had to take for another malady. Really, really sad. I remember watching "Different Strokes" when I was a kid (not reruns, the original broadcasts! Yep I'm that old! )

Don't say it...it's too soon.

Sorry, I couldn't resist when I saw that no one had said it yet.....

Well it's better than the person who tried to 'impersonate' the Nelson laugh two posts above this one.

Now that is really sad! He doesn't even get a little fame for himself in death just because Dennis Hopper decided to die just now...

WHAT THE HELL!!!

I didn't even know him by name, just his role! That guy had a horrible life!!

Coleman was born in Zion, Illinois. He was adopted by Edmonia Sue, a nurse practitioner, and W.G. Coleman, a fork-lift operator. He suffered from a congenital kidney disease caused by focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (an autoimmune destruction and alteration of the kidney), which halted his growth at an early age, leading to a small stature (4 ft 8 in; 1.42 m) and a childlike appearance. He underwent two kidney transplants, one in 1973 and one in 1984, and required daily dialysis.

Coleman struggled financially later in life. In 1993, he successfully sued his parents and business adviser over misappropriation of his assets.

That's horrible! I bet Hopper never had to suffer like that but everyone will just be talking about the death of Dennis Hopper!
