General Field Marshal Johannes Erwin Eugen Rommel was a highly decorated officer in both World Wars, which isn´t just due to the propaganda of Nazi Germany, but his efforts were also acknowledged by his enemies like Winston Churchhill himself:

"We have a very daring and skillful opponent against us, and, may I say across the havoc of war, a great general." and "He also deserves our respect, because, although a loyal German soldier, he came to hate Hitler and all his works, and took part in the conspiracy to rescue Germany by displacing the maniac and tyrant. For this, he paid the forfeit of his life. In the sombre wars of modern democracy, there is little place for chivalry."

You have ABSOLUTLY no right to name him a Nazi. Rommel and his Afrikakorps were never accused of any war crimes, he resisted Hitler´s orders to execute Jewish POWs etc. He didn´t support the Nazi regime and he was deaf to its ideology and that´s the whole tragedy about it, he was a skilled and humane commander inside a totalitarian system and used by its controllers. If you want to escape from your smattering, go buy and read "Mythos Rommel", you could learn a lot.

post scriptum: I am NOT a Nazi, too, just because I adore one of Germany´s most skilled officers as well as you are probably not an evil colonist just because France had some colonies in the time of Imperialism.
