What improvements do you like regarding the first one?

that game is getting kinda old now even thought it came out this year

There really aren't any major differences in the game, it's pretty much like the original Galaxy with a few new hat power ups and new levels. The game play itself is almost exactly the same with the exception of Yoshi, the only thing really different is the way you choose levels and the Mario spaceship thing. I still love playing it though, just for the sake of the awesome levels lol.

Best improvement over the first? More stars!

I like being able to ride on Yoshi.

Even though it has essentially the same gameplay as the first one, that isn't really a bad thing since the it was extremely fun to play. So far I can't find anything to critisize and all the new features improve the game. The increase in difficulty makes it more challenging than the previous one which I like since the first one was a bit too easy. I kind of liked how there was a large hub world in the first one but replacing it with a world map is more accessible and easier to find certain galaxies.

I like some of the newer levels.

*there are some new characters
*the planetoids are more vivacious and lushious
*Yoshi is introduced as one of your partners (including special fruit power ups for Yoshi, which are vital to passing parts of the galaxy)
*Its more challenging compared from the first Super Mario Galaxy (even though i finished SMG2 in less than 2 days in hours. >D< )
*All sorts of new power ups (also vital to passing parts of the galaxy)
*More stars to collect
*New challenging puzzles to complete the stage
(those were from the top of my head =w= )

...But overall, i loved SMG2. The only thing i dont like about SMG2 is that Rosalina (princess of the galaxy. shes my favorite girl character.) doesnt show up that much. She only does if you die SO many times on one mission, she'd help you (heh, she was like Cosmic Mario, but it was Cosmic Rosalina ) get through it, but if you let her do that stage for you, you'll only get a bronze star, instead of a gold one. The only other appearances ive seen of her in the game is when you finish it, and she congradulates you, and tells you shes proud of you.

I'm probably one of the few Wii owners that still don't have it. As I slowly build up my Wii collection, it too will be added.

All the good music, and Yoshi ofcourse
