Out of who's reasonably left, probably Obama. Mainly, because I don't know enough about him, while I know enough about the others to conclude that they'd most likely bring it all to shit.

I hate voting based on this, though.

obama is a very scary man, if he can convince white people that he can take better care of them than a white man hes got some convincing reasoning.

im still deciding though

Obama is kind of a wild card. He has run a minimalist campaign that makes one believe he will run the country according to his heart and conscious; and looking in his eyes he seems the most honest.

The thing to remember; white people who vote based on race wouldn't vote for a democrat anyway.Even in Portland, Mane a large proportion of children aren't white, and many seniors have at least one great grandchild of another race.

Your votes don't matter. I support Ron Paul also but I highly doubt he will be nominated for Republican Party Candidate. I don't mean to be cynical, but the presidential voting system is far from a direct democracy. Hopefully Ron Paul will wake up the nation, to expose how diluted and corrupt our government has become. Don't forget about your congressmen, they are very important too. I the younger people may be overlooking the fact that their votes have a greater impact on who they elect to congress, and that those representatives are their voice for whatever president is elected.

Many of the candidates have strong stances and made promises that are happily accepted by different kinds of people. The one thing we have to keep in mind is the reality and possibility of what they are promising. A president does not have to do anything that they said they are going to do while campaigning. Not only that but most executive decisions get overturned by legislature; since we have a 3 branch government to keep power in check. If we're choosing a king, I'd expect many of their decisions to go into place. Not in the US, however. It all comes down to the policies that each voter agrees with and wants for themselves or their country. Not to mention the skills and character of the candidate. Yet, the character of the candidate is very difficult to tell since they are marketing themselves. In the end, I want a balance of a candidate who share many of my beliefs, who is competent, and someone who wants to protect our country militarily, economically, and socially.

Btw... Thank you, corrupt businesses and politicians for making the almighty SUPER DELEGATES...

I would choose for Obama, really.
I enjoy listening to his speeches, like I like listening to Bush's horrible speeches.

I vote for McCain. Obama and Hilary sucks. Obama avoiding answering the about how is he going to get the money for are Healthcare, he bitch about having hard question (well duh thats campaining for ya) and he avoiding telling us "who are the rich people are". Hilary just flip-flops.

I understand we need changes because of our economics not so good for now, but not everything from what Obama, Hilary or (just to be fair) McCain say that they are going to give you free healthcare or free money. Just to give you a fact, "Life is not Free" work hard and live life to the fullest!

To be honest, extra 4 years during the Bush Admidrstration is not so bad. Think about it, we still have our house or apartments, running water and electricities for 24 hour, and other things we enjoyed of, the whole country is not in the whole doom and gloom. You guys had to admit, you got give Bush a credit for Security. We didn't have another 9/11 since..... please don't hate at me. Peace.

Frankly, none of today's candidates are fit to be president. (in my opinion)

But, aside from that, I'd vote for John McCain... too bad he's trying to be the next George Bush...
