About a billion people who commented before me have said this, but apparently the other ten billion aren't bothering to read what they have to say... -_-

The songs' are absolutely not IDENTICAL. They sound MODERATELY similar.
And even if they did copy the melody, so what? Johnny's has done it God knows how many times. We Can Make It by Arashi was actually composed by a Swedish composer, and later got reused by some Australian singer as a cover version. Both times, the song was LEGALLY purchased and copyrighted.
If Ultra Music Power really was plaigarized, Johnny would have done something by now and we all would have heard about it. Logically, BBT purchased the melody and used it themselves for Yes.
And personally, don't kill me Hey Say fans, but I think Yes sounds waaaaaaaaay better than Ultra Music Power.

And about it being like Weeeeek:
it's really not all that similar. The only thing that's the same is that they're jumping around in suits. Otherwise it's pretty different. The only reason it seems more like Weeeek is because there are six guys in Lollipop too - you can't kill Lollipop just because they have the same number of people as NEWS. And honestly, can people completely confirm that NEWS was the first band in history to have come up with a tuxedo-oriented video?
It's. A. Common. Theme.

It's not like Johnny himself hasn't copied before. Anyone heard NEWS's new Summertime? To me, it's this insane mesh of Wahaha and Happiness and every other crack-let's-be-all-member-ai Johnny song ever created. Shige's little rap segment?! If you're an Arashi fan, all you hear is him copying Sho.

Sorry for the rant, but it's incredibly annoying how people just overlook BBT's talents in favor of Johnny's (I'm probably gonna get bricked for this too, but really, NEWS/H!S!J! don't seem to have much to offer except for their looks/baka-kawaii-ness; maybe I'm just playing devil's advocate, but Lollipop look more promising to me) Don't get me wrong, Johnny owns my soul and everything, but we'd probably be better fans if we looked at both sides of the issue.

Lollipop is not THAT young to deny their OWN faults They aren't dolls, are they? If they were directed because they didn't know anything about JE, we can be tolerate this time, as long as they did apologize to JE <_<; It would be very impolite if they declined to do that!
JE may have songs similar to other companies' too, but that doesn't mean Lollipop is also allowed to do such dirty thing

you know they legally paid for it...

i totally agree with you why not look at both sides of the story? Lollipop's too! and music always consists of little snipets of diff songs i mean they need the inspiration from somewhere! as long as its legal its all right and bbt bought it legally.
