let's see, i want to eat...........

i guess nothing. ad was irrelevant.

if mcd has had some sort of issue w/ gay rights in the past... then ok. otherwise, i don't get it.

why would anyone want to boycott mcd because of this. if anything people won't feel compelled to eat the food that mcd failed to promote. i'm at a loss here. i have an idea, maybe they should have co-released it w/ another ad where a girl instead looks at a picture of her boyfriend as her mom returns to the table w/ unidentifiable food objects. "yaaaaay," now i want to eat..... wait a minute~

So, nobody has the right to feel uneasy about that?

A political message put in each and every part of daily life and noone is even a little concerned about it? It definitely is like the brainwashing under Nazi and Communist rule.

IT IS MCDONALDS! They are trying to give a goddamn burger a political message!!

Nah they just tryna be friendly. :3 So's they can attract more customers from all walks of life.
I'm pretty sure if there was a commercial with black people in it that'd be fine. Even though civil rights used to be a very pressing issue.

Huh .. there's a difference between speaking your mind and being blatantly offensive.

Do us all a favor, learn the difference, and apply.

My dad has a spazz about these things, we had a pretty lengthy debate about it ;O
Basically because he thinks it's unnecessary to show homosexuals and such (especially in this advert where two guys kissed.. can't remember which ad this was.)

Eh, I can kind see the context here, the whole point is that there's such controversial issues about this subject, and even though there is, YOU CAN ALWAYS EAT AT MCDONALDS BOY. Buahaha.

I see what they're saying, but some people just don't like to see it on tv.

well, mcdonald's has done it now... They've totally written off the hillbilly homophobe demographic with this ad. It's a surprisingly large group!

There's always going to be somebody offended by something.

I'd rather have people be honest though. Being open about whether you're for or against homosexuality is better than having to repress your feelings for the sake of political correctness.

Does it really matter? You just lack courtesy.

Is it me or the young guy in that ad hot?

Il est très beau, c'est bien. Who cares if he is gay?

The message of the advert is "Venez comme vous êtes" (come as you are) which I think is a good message to promote to people. It is trying to imply people should be proud of who they were regardless of whether they are gay, or from different backgrounds and what not.
