I am now forced to watch Bleach on CR because DB is going to drop it since CR 'acquisitioned' it.

This presents two problems:

#1: How can i get it to play on my 55" television where i can watch it from the comfort of my sofa?

#2: <chop> nevermind #2, #3, and #4... they were me venting over subtitling issues.</chop>

SERIOUSLY how can i get this through my XBOX-hole and out my TV-port?

Hey I have the same issue, I was fine with not being able to stream Naruto but Bleach is now also gone.

take a look at this thread that I started I think it would be a great Idea http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-636457/crunchyroll-xbox-360-service/

With Dattebayo having dropped both anime that I visited their site for because of Crunchyroll I am now without a way to stream anime onto my television. Dattebayo allowed me to download the episodes so I could convert them and stream them through my Xbox to my television.

Knowing that a download service would not be possible without an additional fee how about we get an in console application like Netflix and Sky have and Hulu is soon to have? There are already iPhone and iPad apps which is a very great step. The next step would be bringing Crunchyroll to our TVs.

Is there any chance this could happen and does anyone else agree that such a service should be added?

I locked the other thread since only 1 is necessary.

Current 3rd party devices/software we support or will support.
iPhone/iPod Touch
iPad
Boxee Box - Coming out this year
Popbox - Release date unknown, used to say this year

If those don't interest you, we are still looking to support more devices and hope to support game consoles like the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii in the future, though work has not been started on any of these at this time. Also, I don't think there are any workaround to watching our videos on an Xbox 360.

What I do to watch Crunchyroll on my TV , or any streaming service (other than Netflix which I use through their Xbox 360 app), is hookup my laptop to the TV. Other people have a small media center PC hooked up to accomplish this.

I have a projector. Since, I watch both Naruto and Bleach via my laptop anyway, I use a VGA cable to my projector to watch both on my projector.

I an iTunes like paid download service a possibility in the future? I looked at the recently released boxed DVD set of Naruto and i goes for ~30$ for 26 http://www.walmart.com/ip/13008380 or about $1.25 an episode. Which I would gladly pay to have a downloadable copy. Seeing as it's just as easy for pirates to rip DVDs as it is a downloaded copy, DRM shouldn't be an issue. Maybe if only up to what is currently released in the Japanese market on DVD is available that would be enough. Even at $1.49 or so (maybe even $1.99 for 720P which is higher quality than DVD) an episode CrunchyRoll could make a profit and send the rest to the publisher?

As publishers are already realizing a change in their business model to meet the demands of the fans is a good thing for both them and the fans. This seems to be the logical next step. Maybe another petition is in order like the one you did for Bleach to bring it to us streaming?

We had a Direct Download service from mid 2008 to March 31st, 2010 but it wasn't very popular and we don't have the rights to provide downloads for shows like Naruto. We only have online broadcasting rights for most of the series here.

Perhaps provide a plugin for PlayOn? Then CR->360 would be trivial

Already working on Xbox 360 support in a similar fashion that PlayOn does it except it will be free to download and run.

I second the playon plugin. I use a PS3 in my living room and a 360 in the bedroom and playon let's me watch all kinds of stuff. I would LOVE to have CR added!! I am also thinking about getting either a ROKU or a Boxee as I already have Boxee installed on my Macbook Pro and I like it. I just don't like having the MBP tethered to my TV.

How's the development coming along for XBox 360 and PlayOn? I have been wanting to stream Crunchyroll to my TV, but so far like everyone else am resigned to staring at my iPad, instead. Netflix has a lot of good anime available for instant streaming; it just doesn't have everything I want to watch, though.

I even looked into my Panasonic VIERA Cast stuff in hopes there was a way to stream through that... No luck there. *sigh*

Has there been any progress made on this? This is one of the top things I would want from Crunchyroll and will be a huge consideration on weather or not I keep my subscription.

We're in contact with Microsoft about it but can't say how long it will be before we get an app on Xbox 360.

Yes please, please, please! Get this connected to xbox360 or ps3. My boyfriend and I love watching anime but its not an option to huddle around my desk top in our uncomfortable chairs. I will look forward to this!
