i know i dont. i used to think i was a very strong willed person.. not so much now.. i did just buy an electronic cigarette though today. its charging up right now so i can give it a try tomorrow! i know they dont actually help with nicotine addictions at all, but at least i wont be putting all that other crap in my body!
also for any hookah smokers out there, i just recently found out about tea based hookah products. tastes only a bit different than the tobacco hookah but.. without the tobacco!

No way it's taken lightly. At least not over here. People whine and bitch about smokers, but they don't realize that it keeps a large part of the population stress free.

But then again, most people fail to see the advantage since they're blinded by their ignorance.

They should put something stronger in cigarettes. Maybe rat poison or swine flu injections. We can call them vaccines

That will loose sales and it can't possibly be comfortable. My last idea was better

Mine is an original concept. Yours, well, you're just copying Soviet Russia.

I've honestly never found out what's so enticing about cigarettes...
All my life I've lived in a house full of smokers, my brother, mother and father and just living with them has put me off smoking in any form...
The smoke seems to be attracted to me though which is kinda annoying...
Although recently my father, a smoker for god knows how long quit and has gone strong for 19 weeks, imo if a 40 something year old man who's been smoking since before dinosaurs where wiped out can quit I'm pretty sure anyone can...

This is about nicotine. There's a thread for smoking somewhere else, find it or at least say something we haven't heard 1 trillion times.

Besides, 13 year olds are dumb by default, so that makes us even.

You could try bioresonance. 90% success rate in getting over your addiction for more than 6 months.

Except some want that addiction? As someone originally aggressive I find nicotine a life saver.

Well then, i insist you do not under go this treatment! But considering how successful it is, some people might find it interesting.

my husband is also addicted to nicotine. He tried to quit once but he got really irritable. He's naturally a cheerful person but during that one-month period of trying to quit he became completely unbearable. He smokes around 5 to 6 sticks a day, before or after meals often. Now he's with his parents in his hometown, and fortunately his parents doesn't know about him smoking nor do they approve of the idea of him smoking, so he's down to maybe one or two sticks in two days. I can see how difficult it is for him to quit, so the best thing I do at the moment is keep him occupied with other things, and never say anything to him that will remind him that he hasn't lighted a stick since yesterday. He started going to the gym too, which is absolutely good for him, but he hasn't completely given up on it yet. And it gets even worse. at times when his parents are out, he'll finish half a pack in a day to make up for the days he didn't smoke. I don't know what else ot do at this point. I remember he got nicotine gum from a friend a few months ago, and I assumed that he knows how to properly use it, but then I caught him smoking and chewing gum which I heard is dangerous... I tried to talk to him about it but he didn't listen. I want to continue being supportive of my husband but I can't think of anything else to do.
