You don't even understand Japanese, so how would you know which is better? You might as well STFU since DB was doing something illegal in the first place considering Viz has the rights to Bleach in the US and Manga has it in the UK. I would much rather have a legal way to support the creators. I will say one nice thing about DB though, they did decide to quit when CR got the simulcast of Bleach, even if they should have quit subbing it long ago.

I think someone didn't read the Bleach FAQ that BasouKazuma kindly made to help answer some of the questions fans are having.

The content owners normally only subtitle the opening and ending songs when they own the songwriter rights. Sasameki Koto is an example. Its one of the things that DVD distributors have to pay extra royalties for most of the time.

Also, DB already said that Crunchyroll did not "force" them to drop Bleach"

Crunchyroll Does Not Force DB to Drop Bleach

2010/06/07

As most of you are probably aware, Crunchyroll has recently acquired the rights to simulcast Bleach. As we previously stated, DB will therefore be dropping the project. ...

Please note that Crunchyroll did not in any way force, coerce, recommend, or suggest that we drop Bleach. DB has in fact not had any communication directly with Crunchyroll regarding this issue or any other. We are dropping Bleach because we support legal alternatives to fansubs and we hope you will too.

Also, note the conclusion of that paragraph:

As with Naruto, the best way to make sure this service is giving you what you want is to give it a chance and then send your feedback to Crunchyroll and to Viz, preferably framed in as polite as a way as you can manage so they might actually listen to you.

Pathetic Viz subs the show. Why won't DB team up with Cruchyroll so that DB subs and Crunchyroll streams, legally? Oh, right, Viz pays TV Tokyo more. So I guess the money is really in the Premium members. I don't have a credit card yet so I can't officially show my preference for legally streamed shows.

I don't like the subs either.
Honestly, I don't really care about them not subbing the openings and endings, I never read them anyway.

Regarding the bolded part: CR can't sub the opening and ending since they do not own the rights to the songs. You seem to not understand this simple thing: you cannot sub something you do not own legally. If CR tries to sub the opening and/or ending without permission, the company that owns the song/lyrics can sue CR for copyright infringement. Stop whining about the opening and/or ending not being subtitled, it's not needed to happen anyway.

As a former DB man, and now a present subscriber here, there really isn't a huge difference in the subs. Some stuff changed, I know, I've been watching DB since day one and switching to this took a bit of getting used to, but I did get used to it. If you can recognize what words are different based on the Japanese, then that means you understood the Japanese word, so therefore the sub change didn't really matter anyway.
