As you now have a considerable amount of Anime and now trusted by a number of the anime companies, have you had any thought of what is going on with the Manga side of things?

How about Crunchyroll becoming not only an official source for anime & Drama but Manga too, it would certainly tick off the main aggregators such as Onemanga and Mangafox as well as giving an outlet for those who want to read the latest manga legally, perhaps a deal could be struck with Shounen Jump for example?

What does everyone think?

Perhaps the topic of the next poll? :: hint hint :::: hehe

Well Mangafoxs' roster of manga far surpasses 6500 manga series. I think it would be hard getting even 1000 mangas to be on crunchyroll. It would make membership even more expensive, not to mention possible licencing restrictions.

P.S. Though having mangas would be something I'd pay for if they did do that.

Already a thread about this:

Just realized that was in the Premium Member forum so I'll just quote what I said in that thread:

We currently have these mangas by Udon that were added over a year ago:

So we already have the system set up, it's just a matter of getting licenses and commiting to it but I think we're mainly focusing on Anime and Drama at the moment. When there's a more solid Anime and Drama library, we might branch out further into Manga if it's possible.
