IMO, it's about supporting the industry instead of mooching off of the illegal distribution of anime. Of course, the free stuff on here is still legal. Why do people pay people to subtitle? It's work. Why do we pay people to cook for us? We can cook ourselves. You know? Most things in life aren't free. I think the internet has spoiled us. We have instant access to so much information that wasn't as readily available, say 15 years ago. Just saying...
