So, Fullmetal Alchemist, after nine years has come to it's end. What do you think about it?
I was quite satisfied with the ending, she cleaned things up nicely and Father got his just desserts. I like how Al and Ed found a way to live at the end as well. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Ed and Winry's kids are so cute, love how he proposed to her, hehehhehehe and it seems that May and Al did indeed get together...wonder if she ever explained her 'cat' is a really a small panda. Also I think the way Hohenhiem dead, in front of his wife's grave was ever so fitting. Oh and Ed found the way to beat TRUTH, he gave up his Alchemy for Al.
I'm going to miss this series and I look forward to Arakawa sensei's new work. Though the cow deserves a break. I'm glad they went back to animate this story closer to the manga, it's just a great series that I will love for the days to come. |

I somehow can't believe it ended...I mean, I loved the series, the first anime interpretation, the second anime interpretaion based on the manga, and the manga itself. I feel like as if a great era of manga has just ended. Now there's just Naruto, One Piece and Bleach left. But at least I'm still somehow comforted that Arakawa will continue on a new project (maybe, hopefully, I HOPE SO)....

I liked the ending although one minor nitpick was Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide how he destroyed the final nemesis ?
FMA has been w/ me from 9th grade and on..so sad it has ended. |

That was one of the most satisfying endings to anything I've put my time into keeping up with. It was one of those endings where I can honestly say everything turned out to every aspect of my liking, Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide including the peaceful death of Hohenheim at Trisha's gravestone . That part alone left me satisfied and not sad because we all know that's exactly how he wanted to go.
I truly enjoyed every aspect of this manga and can't wait for Arakawa's next work. |

The anime hasn't ended just yet....but, the manga has ended. Very good ending. I will miss reading it. I wonder if the final episode of the anime will be like 2 hours or split up. I guess we'll see in a few months.

It was one of the few series that actually ended brilliantly (with no open ends or cliff hangers)! I couldn't ask for more.
I happily teared up when Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Hohenhiem finally (& peacefully) died. |

I thought the ending suited the series and Arakawa's style.....especially the Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide proposal at the end........so like Ed! . This has been my favorite series for years now. I cannot wait to see what this creator comes up with next! |

Nice ending, but I never really thought that I'd be disappointed, I mean this is exactly the ending I was waiting for not the lame ending from the first anime.
