Being a 22-year-old virgin? :)) Not that I'm proud of it and not that I'm not proud of it... Heck what is there to be proud or not to be proud of?
There's not a big deal about a guy being a virgin; and I don't get what people in my place give so much importance to female virginity.
If virginity implies the being intact of the hymen; it doesn't matter much since there are a number of ways to rupture the hymen and one of those ways is - get this: Physical Activity. Shall I translate? Sports. Dance. Doing a split.
Plus for those who mention: "I'm saving it up for my future husband."
Let me get this straight: You're getting hitched and all you have to offer is an intact hymen? Wow.
For those who want to wait for the right person to experience their first; cheers to you - that's the only reason I'm willing to believe in anyway.

i won't care the virginity if i met with the 1 i love n love me too.(make sure he does love u too)... how worth is the virginity as some of the ppls keep saying to keep their virginity till their marriage? lol~~ doesn't it the same if u give ur "1st time" to him/she b4 or after ur marriage?? it's still the same person what.... lol~~ unless u dun even wanna have a close relationship till the time when u feel u wanna get marriage.....

Why are you happy to be a virgin, is it because you want people to think better of you, listen virgin or not you shouldn't care what people think, just make sure you live life for your self and those close to you, if a girl isn't a virgin I don't automaticaly think she is a slut that is plain ignorance but if she is I think nothing less, why am I not a virgin is because I enjoy doing it and pleasing women but if a girl I love wants to wait then by golly I'll wait but it doesn't mean I want try!!

I AM! people praise sex far to much. i dont have a guy in my life. i am single too and never had a boyfriend and honestly i am happier. dating=drama in school and life= head pain. i really rather just skip all of that until i am trully ready for it.

I am, mainly because unlike most teens my age (or some even younger) have already lost their's only to be able to say they did it. It doesn't make you cool. -_- It makes most people think you're a slut if you "do the do" just for popularity.
What depresses me is how losing your virginity isnt based on love anymore..if it ever was.

Lol. Being a virgin is now turned into an achievement for not falling into society's norms. That's interesting, because a few years back it was losing your virginity as early as possible would be the achievement. This only means that times are changing before our very own eyes..conservatism rising vs. liberation. Interesting to watch...

I don't see what there is to be proud of being a virgin, great.. you never had sex... like that is a HUGE and COOL and AWESOME and UNIQUE thing.... It's just you never having sex, it's nothing to be ashamed of but... it's not much to be proud of.
