I waited until I was 20 for many reasons. There was no need to impress any guys I dated because I could, if they were worth my time then they woulda waited with me because I wasn't ready yet. As for the whole, why wait....thats up to each individual. If you are ready now...that's all you, but be ready for any possible consquences. I hate hearing more than anything "I didn't know"....in this world we live in, you hear about it at every public school, every chat room and every blog.
