That is the deadly question. I find Naruto entertaining but I refuse to pay for it. Also, there are way better stuff out there, so I can clearly say Naruto isn't good enough for me.

I think you should just get a some volumes and/or some DVDs. (Personal Choice, some Volumes[Not really], and use CR for anime)

lets see 45 volumes of manga so far out in America, there is over 60 in japan. So that means if each volume is 8-10 bucks depending on where you live plus tax it would cost around, $360.00-$450.00 not including tax to catch up/own all the manga so far. So if you have money to burn go for it, on the other hand I have car payment, insurance and food to buy but like I said do what you want. hmmm here is how much it would cost with taxes for me.
477.00 and damn that's a lot of money for me.

Why are you letting us decide things for you? I mean, do you text your friends to ask "HEY GUISE SHOULD I BRUSH MY TEETH SIDEWAYS OR VERTICALLY?"

Sorry if I'm being a douche.

Wait, nvm. I'm not really that sorry.

I think you shouldn't even waste money on Naruto manga. Just read it online. Or buy it if you really really need it.

Lets see

If you have all the budget you have and you REALLLLLLY are in love with Naruto, then go buy it. No one is stopping you.

As a human being with low pocket money, I suggest you invest on posters/character figures and other stuffs related to naruto. Just collecting all manga/CD will cost you a fortune.

I bought almost 20 manga (not naruto lol) and its the same price as my bass guitar. Not worth it for someone like me who doesn't have a job.

It's not that I'm having you decide for me silly, don't get big headed and think that your opinion means THAT much. =] And yes you are being a douche, and yes, please don't be sorry, I'm no where near being offended by such a childish response. Also, its spelt "guys" not "guise".

I was actually looking for someone's opinion that has already bought all of the volumes who could compare the experience of watching the anime, and reading the manga. I wanted to know the difference in the story.

Obviously it is a lot of money, and for those who assume that I don't have a job, car payments, car insurance, an apartment, and the bills that come with, please realize how ridiculous you sound. I'm 20 years old, I make 40 grand a year, have had my own apartment since I was 18, bought my own car when I was 16 (obviously with a cosigner) I've paid for my car and the insurance since day one with no help and am about to buy my own house. I have the money to buy all of the volumes but obviously am not going to buy them 1 by 1 because that would just be stupid. $9.99 per volume is ridiculous. Barnes and Noble online has Naruto Volumes 1-27 on sale for $118.11, and I'm sure they'll make another deal for the remaining volumes as more come out.

Thanks for your opinions, but stating the obvious is not entirely helpful.

Out of all of the replies I found yours most useful. Investing in other things other than the manga that relates to Naruto is a better idea. I could definitely just see myself investing my time in reading the manga online somewhere. Thanks a lot! =]
