Wow, watched a 720P ripped CR release of the latest Bleach ep to see the difference before even thinking about paying money for a subscription and I can honestly say I'll be sticking to the rips. Paying money for less quality then what you get for free from DB is just mind boggling. CR doesn't even sub the intro/ending songs

Thank you CR for killing high quality streams of Bleach. DB was doing absolutely no harm since from what I am understanding they themselves payed for the RAWs and then subbed it for our enjoyment. Not to mention it was perfectly LEGAL anyway since we weren't paying for their subs.

I'm either going somewhere else to look for decent Bleach subs (which is more than likely impossible now) or just stop watching Bleach cause I would rather not support A-holes like you who make you pay for something that was already legal in the first place (and from what I hear less quality and longer release times too!)

Again, thank you for ruining my Tuesday evening enjoyment.

Edit - Found one! Screw you assholes!

If they were paying for raws, it was bootlegs since it doesn't go on DVD the week thevshow airs. Also, DB wasn't legal since Bleach was already licensed in the US and UK. Make sure you know your stuff before you say something, it makes you look stupid. Also, you don't understand Japanese, so how do you know which is higher quality?

So i Finally Gave Cr my Payment details as i really wanted this to be good insted of trolling the net for a new fansub....

May i just say in the kindst way that i am Really Dissapointed and i hope that i have not being charged any money as of yet because if i had i would be getting my money back

First issue i have is that i cannot veiw or enter the Cr site on Firefox it just comes up with a bad code for password and even if typed correctly will not let me log in........(see picture one)

second issue is By god do not advertise 720p if it is not 720p you may have incoded the video in 720 but that does not make it 720p
also the file size 240mb wow thats 60mb more then needed for the quality

Also when you go into fullscreen it freezes in both of the "new" and "old" player things all i get is sound....bit random look at picture 2

According to a reputable site which keeps track of the format/quality animu is aired in, BLEACH does NOT air in what would be considered "High Definition" in most parts of the world, except maybe in Kenya.
39 火 18:00~18:30 BLEACH テレビ東京 SD field up 16:9 コンポーネント
52 木 19:30~20:00 NARUTO -ナルト- 疾風伝 テレビ東京 SD up 16:9 コンポーネント

see pictures 3 and 4 to see wm720p and Cr 720p
and picture 5 for a fansub qualiy of 848x480

Thing showing that it is 720p from the flash player source

('http://static.ak.crunchyroll.com/flash/20100614164007.0fce378017eaab6d1dc513dd5df37de8/StandardVideoPlayer.swf','showmedia_video_player','1280', '750', '9.0.115','http://static.crunchyroll.com/common/static/flash/express_install.swf',{"config_url":"http%3A%2F%2Fwww.crunchyroll.com%2Fxml%2F%3Freq%3DRpcApiVideoPlayer_GetStandardConfig%26media_id%3D542596%26video_type%3D21%26auto_play%3D1"},{"wmode":"transparent","allowFullScreen":"true","allowscriptaccess":"always","allownetworking":"all"},{"id":"showmedia_video_player","style":"display:block;"},null);

last and formost issue is who gets paid to subtitle the anime on this site??? can i please have an email address for complaints?
the subtitling is rushed not 100% timed what about subtitling a song? meh cbf to time it? i mean comon if im paying for this i want everything i got for free "illegaly"( Like no one on this website has ever downloaded a video or a song so or watched a copyrighted video on youtube..... before you post shut your internet trap!)

please explain to me why i would be paying for this sort of service? does this make me some sort of idiot??? also when i tryed cancel my account and payments it said i could not as they have not being reviewed?

i been reading all the posts here.... i been wondering what are some of you talking about bleach was totally free from DB and was good subbing no commercials was a dam good site only problem was gettin bleach like a couple hrs late after airing could get it like tuesday night to wensday morning subbed and clean i dunno why ya'll signed for crunchyroll to take bleach cause now DB stopped subbing because of it... so now you have to PAY to see bleach on time or WAIT A WHOLE WEEK after it was air'd which sucks both ways i had to become a premium member just to see 275 which sucks

i have all episodes of bleach from1 - 274 and was all free from DB thanks for ruining a good thing.... DB wasn't breaking any laws subbing bleach and because of approving this petition thing to stream bleach legal DB stopped in respect to all legal ways ( which had over 200,000 ppl) more than the lame 40,000 ppl needed here way to go disappointing 200,000 ppl and more... worldwide like me from the caribbean

and all for what.....

I don't know why I bother, but here we go again... DB's activity was ILLEGAL! Even they say so in their own faq:
http://www.dattebayo.com/faq.aspx
"Is downloading Naruto, Bleach illegal?

Generally speaking, yes. Downloading fansubs, regardless of their license status is illegal in United States and various other countries. United States Code Title 17 does not allow distribution of copyrighted work by anyone except the copyright owner, and while others may claim that subtitling and distributing anime for entertainment purposes fits under the "fair use" exception, it most certainly does not."

Crunchyroll Does Not Force DB to Drop Bleach

2010/06/07

As most of you are probably aware, Crunchyroll has recently acquired the rights to simulcast Bleach. As we previously stated, DB will therefore be dropping the project. We will release one more episode so that our staff can say goodbye to one of our favorite shows, and so we can conclude the project with having subbed 225 total episodes of Bleach. This means that Bleach 274 will be DB's last episode of Bleach.

Please note that Crunchyroll did not in any way force, coerce, recommend, or suggest that we drop Bleach. DB has in fact not had any communication directly with Crunchyroll regarding this issue or any other. We are dropping Bleach because we support legal alternatives to fansubs and we hope you will too. As with Naruto, the best way to make sure this service is giving you what you want is to give it a chance and then send your feedback to Crunchyroll and to Viz, preferably framed in as polite as a way as you can manage so they might actually listen to you.

DB is also officially dropping Ookiku due to its having overloaded timecop's hate circuits. We will continue to sub Hakuouki and perhaps the occasional episode of Pythagoras Switch, and will hopefully have fun new projects in the future!

Finally, and as always, this decision is not up for negotiation, so don't bother writing to us and trying to change our minds. People who do so will NOT be banned, but WILL be doused in honey and left in lafnear's ant-infested yard.

Without accepting the fact that everything changes, we cannot find perfect composure. But unfortunately, although it is true, it is difficult for us to accept it. Because we cannot accept the truth of transience, we suffer. ~Shunryu Suzuki

"Perfectly legal"? and already...legal...? Where do you people get your 'logic' from? It all just seems like excuses.

For your information, DB themselves said that it was illegal it was in their FAQ section:

Generally speaking, yes. Downloading fansubs, regardless of their license status is illegal in United States and various other countries. I'm so sorry that now you actually have to support the industry to watch Bleach.
