I've Been a premium member for about a Year and a half i would say and never had a problem loading videos in during peak times etc, just this week I've been getting hellish load times, most of the time it sits at Exclusive video for .... and doesn't load. Suggestions I've checked everything I'm out of ideas.

This has become a problem for me as well, video hangs up right at start, and then after a few minutes I might get a couple of seconds of video, then several minutes of nothing. It seems to be affecting the whole site. I ran a test at speedtest.net and have 13.68 MB/Sec down and 1.87 MB/Sec up. Pinging www.crunchyroll.com results in a 79ms lag, so really there shouldn't be any issues with bandwidth. I also just fully updated flash. As an anime premium member, I would kinda like to be able to get the videos I am paying for.

I am also having an issue watching videos I was curious as to maybe it was the newest Adobe Flash 10 but this all started just this week. They will not load are when they do its is horrid buffering. I am A premium member but had to go off some leech site to watch Naruto because it would not load here..

Browser: Firefox
OS: Vista

All Other video sites are working fine, my Upload and Download speeds are perfectly normal

I am out of ideas, Iv uninstalled flash and reinstalled it same thing.

I'm having the same problem.
The one weird thing was is that I cycled my router and modem and it worked for a little while then it went back to the way it was.
I also have Charter.

I have been somewhat busy, so sorry for the slow response. Those of you having the video issue, could I get:

If it's a network/buffering related problem, please link to your latest speedtest and a pingtest results.

Also provide the applicable instructions below and paste those results here.

For Apple computers with Mac OSX installed:

I suspect that the issue for you guys is that you are all set to use the same server, and for some reason you can't access it right now. If that is a case, I can walk you guys (and anyone else having that issue) through changing which server you are on for a few days still Charter has fixed the issue.

after finding the other threads for a couple of you, atleast some of you all shar the same server @ 184.51.200.151

I just tried streaming from that server, and I get an error in flash. I would still like the information from the previous post, however here is something for all of you to try ONLY if you are somewhat near chicago (read as within about 450 miles).

For computers with windows (not Vista/7):

I forgot to add to please post back if this works or not for you. If it works, just remember you did this change (as at somepoint the server at that address may have issues/stop being a server), if it doesn't work I can give you a different server that isn't in Chicago to try out.

Sorry, but as there is no actual list of servers (the list I have is servers I have pulled) I can't help you that way LesUnit.
I would suggest changing your dns servers to open DNS servers in Australia. I found one DNS server which is 209.59.164.250 and should hopefully pull a new streaming server IP for you

Good to hear that that server works for the Charter people.

UPDATE: Okay. I fixed it. Thank you! -- But it has been years since I mucked around with Linux, and I really had to work hard at remembering how to do this. So for Mac people: you need to make this fix in the terminal, and you need to log in as the root user, but you probably shouldn't do this unless you have some idea what you're doing.

I'm near Chicago, I've got the same horrible problems with playback. I'm trying to run your fix for Mac OSX, but I can't figure out what:
"Open /etc/hosts in your favorite text editor"
means.

Could you give me a bit more coaching, please? I'm reasonably computer-literate, but I'm missing something here.
