People who failed to finish an anime have no right to criticize it? Agree or disagree?

If you never seen a show & just criticize it from just a preview, then yeah you're wrong for doing so. if you seen only a few episodes or less & it sucks, plot, storyline & etc. then you criticize it for all I care.

I disagree.
Just because works of art can bore you to the point where finishing it could feel more like a chore, than entertainment...
And if there's no entertainment for said individual, then the art in question serves no purpose.
Savvy?

disagree on the first few episodes you can show if a anime is going to be worth your time and you can certainly see issues you might have with it that would be worth discussing. Now I don't agree with AlexKeller that the point of ALL art is entertainment (in fact the best art I would say would NOT have that as its purpose) but for anime you can certainly complain about one if you haven't seen all of it.

I have only seen 2 or 3 episodes of bo bo bo bo but I know it isn't something I would like at all. Now for an official review of an anime I do think it is something that you should have watched all of as how an anime ends is important for a review. Many great or ok anime had terrible endings that ended up being non endings (champloo comes to mind)

Yes you have a right but you should state that it's based on the episodes you watched.

There's been quite a few shows that I could not finish for one reason or another and I'm 99% sure based on the quality of those episodes that it will not get any better. It's usually pretty obvious what the show is going to be like based on the first few episodes. Hell, sometimes you can tell by the opening. If by some chance they do manage it I still think the shows a piece of shit because it should not of taken them that long to figure it out.

But the reverse is also true since some shows start out really good but screw it up in the end. Soul Eater is a good example. That anime was so close to getting a 10/10 from me but then the ending ruined that. Now it's maybe a 8.5

In the end if you want to do a review of a series then you need to watch it all. But if you're just stating your opinion then no you don't.

I agree and disagree, you have to at least have watched 1/3 to be able to say you "hate" it. But if you still think it's bad after watching that much then you shouldn't waste your time watching the rest.
Also it really depends on the length...if its a long anime you have to watch at least half of it...if it's a really short anime, 2 episodes should be enough.

I completely agree with you, everyone has there different tastes and opinions, but you need to get to a certain point in an anime before really criticizing it.
