I did hear that a lot from boys n gals.
Although, all teens.
I think it stops with maturity that is all.

Humans are creatures of habit, so if someone hears other people around them saying "like" often, they're going to pick it up and start saying it themselves without even realizing. That goes for anyone, not just girls. Where you live also has some influence.

guys do it too... -.-;; have you been living in a hole? Or have you just been with teenage girls too much?
They just say in it a way that isn't that detectable... "like" under their breaths
whereas for girls, they say it in a way that accents the sound, so it's more apparent.
like, there you go

No idea why they say it all the time, probably too much Jersey shore and all those crappy MTV shows.
Either way, it's not attractive at all.

Naah, its not used all the time, but i think sometimes its okay to use it like, when (see here im giving an example lol), some people probably use it instead of ''uhmm'' other times it just adds rhythm to your sentence. (Can you like, stop that?)
It shouldn't be overloaded into one sentence though.
Thats just like saying riiiight... inrerrupt me because like im obviously confused.... and like... i don't know what to say next, and like...
i'm thinking, so like...
Nows the time to butt in! *hint hint*
