I don't use it much at all-in fact, I know guys who use it more! Usually I use it to mean "about", such as "There were, like, ten people there."

Not every girl says it. BUT unfortunately, I say LIKE alot.
I don't know why I say it. It's just natural to me. It's just a filler before you deliver your points. It's like giving your brain some time to construct the sentences before you say it.

I only say like when I'm nervous while explaining something XP but I say dude almost every other sentence and everyone always makes fun of me cause of it XP and I say yoh alot XP

I dont say "like" a lot but I do tend to end my sentences with "ya?" or "ya know?" and I dont know why... I cant even begin to explain it
