Actually that is what religious people are for. I guess you haven't seen some missionaries going to places only the brave dares to go just to do charity works and teaching moral values. UN is not the only agency that works to alleviate the world suffering. Christians from around the world are participating in this act of human kindness.

We still didn't do anything wrong, regardless of what your convoluted scriptures tell. We evolved from apes, pure and simple. What we do is our own business, and no god, no matter how much people love him, will stop us from spreading out across the known cosmos, and furthering our species. To keep us from stagnating, having no religion is one of the first requirements, since we can be taught all the same values with none of the weird storytelling. God didn't make anyone, and it is an insult to think we came from such a terrible vision.

people think they are not offending God but they do. Even us, Christians offended/offending/ will offend God also but we can drop the worries about that because in God's 3rd convenant (Jesus Christ), He just forgives everyone. No more divine punishment like rain of fire.

though to be fair, those aren't the words I learned. Close but just a little off.
as for the marines.... Are they some special 5th branch of the armed forces? Pretty uppity for a bunch of naval infantry. I didn't know they were admitting to their connection with the navy. But you have to give them credit, taking down the barbary pirates and finishing the deal with Santa Anna were important parts of American history.

marines is the ground force of the navy and there are only three branch of armed forces (depends if your country counts the police)
Army is not only ground, Navy is not only water and Air force is not only sky.

i odnt believe slavery is wrong and immoral, i believe slavery has its place in societies of the past. I dont believe societies could fuction without slavery back then. Its just that Americans preception of what slavery is, is lacking for lack of a better word. peace over war
