The Japanese is quite easy if you are trying to learn, it has furigana on all the printed kanji so you don't even need a kanji dictionary. Spoiler Alert! It is my favorite manga. the manga was terrific and the anime isn't bad either. I love mei and yamato. Yamatos sister is really cute(STILL:-) ). aiko needs to be brought back because I liked her and she had more of a heart In the manga than the anime. Megu is getting on my nerves(just like the manga). The anime did skip a few chapters but it is an anime and animes are usually never the same as mangas. its a shame though.

I really hope that they add a 2nd season, this has to be one of my favorite manga and I want it done right. I like this manga a lot better than Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, that one just drags on and on.

I have all ten volumes of Tonari no kaibutuskun too but Sukitte ii na yo I read much faster. I got Kaibutsu first but I am not as far along for some reason. Knowing the words in hiragana is not enough obviously. You need to study the grammar too. Ganbatte ne!

At that rate they will fall farther and farther behind until the Japanese original is finished. I wish it was properly licensed for those who don't read Japanese.
