Even though I am only just classified as an adult, I miss being a kid aswell as being in the early 2000's, back when there was decent shows on the telly. I can remember getting up at nine on a weekend to watch Pokemon, Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh on CITV, or Fox Kids, before it went tits up and turned into Jetix. I have recently turned onto CITV and noticed shows like Fleabag Monkeyface and Dino Kungfu Posse, and I will admit that I have cried a little that my childhood has almost been forgotten. I feel like kids will miss out on the good children's anime by choosing to watch this nonsense, I recently heard people talking about MLP and Redakai calling them Anime. If there was a channel that would show these old Anime's again and new ones I would be happy to re-live my childhood again!

Of course, who wouldn't want to be a kid again? You would make far less mistakes and get to live life all over again. When your a kid all you think about is wanting to be an adult, so its kinda ironic, lol. The trick to life is loving the present moment.

Anyone who doesn't miss being a kid, had a childhood they couldn't recover from, or couldn't accept.
Everyone else, loves their childhood and/or have nostalgic notions of it.

Music gives me nostalgia from my past. Yeah, I miss my past too. Time runs too fast. Before I didn't understand why the grown ups said that. Now I understand. I switched places. I see people have children. It is weird. In a year or so I stay the same but the child undergoes a lot of changes. I am not the guy to pick on the Santa Claus anymore. I would be Santa Claus and be picked on instead.
The picture is opposite now. Jeez where did that time go?

It really depends on the circumstances. Would you go back and re-live what you already lived, or would you become a child in this time period? Would you have memories of what you're like currently or not?
Either way, I'm pretty satisfied with how I am now, and I see no need to go back. It wouldn't bother me to, though.

would i want to be a child again? sure i'd like a do over on life :p
would i want to go back to when "I" was a child? no i wouldn't want to do 90% of that again. but there were some crazy things that many people only dream of ever getting the opportunity to do that i'd like to do over again....... (just let your mind wonder on what i'm talking about, because i can't post it here lol) |
