Am I the only who doesn't want to be a kid again? lol

Being an adult gives me the power to control my own life, to defend myself and preserve my sanity. As a kid, your life is in another person's hands, if that person is a psycho the kid will suffer and no childhood will be enjoyed.

Of course.
No worries.
No problems.
No stress.

Everything was simple.
I was extremely naive.
I was easily amused/occupied with life.

Being a kid was fricken fantastic, and i loved every moment of it. the good and the bad.
And i also always wanted to get older. More than anything. now im older. and i wish i didnt grow up so fast haha. alot of people feel this way though.

But the present is still great, and who knows what's in store for the future.

I don't really care it. My awareness of the world when I was a kid was so limited back then from what I know now. I rather be fully aware of the world than not. I can't help but find the "good old days" statements as escapism. Where a person can't handle the truth of current times so they think back to an earlier time as somehow being better, which it is not.

Once I hit 16 time flew by so fast you don't even comprehend it! But I miss the days of coming home with no homework or exams to study. If you're still in middle/high school enjoy yourself! Although college isn't too bad either.

Well honestly, I'm not your age yet, but what made my life go by fast with me not remembering a bunch is work. It's like when I stopped going to school and starting working 8+ hours a day, all my time seemed to go by fast because so much of it was spent on working / recovering from and preparing for work / doing errands and chores when not working / the personal time left.

And I didn't even have kids. The guys I know who did have even less free time than I do and I bet time flies by even faster for them.

I don't miss my childhood at all. No freedom, no power (political or otherwise), no real knowledge of anything, no money, no social skills, and so many bad influences that were ruining my life starting with my Parents, who to this day I would list as my #1 bad influence, even over peers, TV, the media, the government, and everything else people like to blame.

no student loans to pay off, no need to get a job just yet, homework was easy, and you could watch anime after homework. you get to go to cool field trips in school, and play games a lot. being a kid is awesome, and one should cherish their childhood.

I'm only 13 so I'm still considered as a kid, but I wish I could be a younger kid. When I wasn't judged by people by my appearance, not knowing what was gonna happen in the future, when I didn't realize that all the people around me are all gonna die one day including myself, when I cared very little about boys, and when I didn't try to change myself to impress people.
Once in awhile I tell myself, "I wish time machines we're real." (:

This, except I never try to impress people with looks, and I dont wish time machines were real lol.

I'm 42 and I'm still a kid, so no. I do miss the extra energy, but I still do everything I did when I was young. However, my Pong Machine turned into a PS3 and a high-end gaming computer, my paper airplanes turned into RC Jets, and my Big Wheel turned a Honda VTX....and that's not a bad thing.

There are some aspects I miss, but overall I vastly prefer the freedom I have as an adult.
