I do miss some parts of childhood. Like for example, I used to ride my bike in a giant grass field near my parents home and pretend I was riding Epona and I had to go to the market to buy potions (the market being the grocery store where I bought candies...) It was amazing. So much freedom. Today I couldn't do something like that (mainly because that field is now occupied by newly constructed condos...)

However, I love being 23 right now. I don't really feel like I'm an adult yet. I still see my parents every weekend, even if I have my own house, and that's great. I can do and buy whatever I want, but I still get support from my beloved parents from time to time

Yes and no. I miss being able to "get away" with certain things because I was just a child. Now, I'm practically blamed for every mistake/wrong doing even when it isn't my fault

I do sometimes. Then I remember that I can drive and get into bars without a fake ID.

I am still a kid.

Men do not mature, they just age.

I missed having LITTLE responsibility.

Honestly I don't miss being a kid so much as the times.. When I was a boy the neighborhood children and I roamed free from dawn to dusk (with a brief pit stop at someone's backyard for lunch). Skittering through forest, swamp, and suburbia alike with little, if any, supervision.

My niece will be forced to grow up in a world where it's no longer safe to raise children that way, at least in our region. Everywhere has gotten more crowded, and crime rates here have skyrocketed in the last decade with the recent influx of drugs and inner-city gangs.

I would never give up the freedoms and responsibilities of adulthood, but regret that her childhood will likely be very different from my own.

TL;DR: Alcohol and I have something special together, and I don't think I could throw that away.

There are some memories I'm fond of, but I don't think I'd ever say I want to go back.

To be a kid again and have the possibilities seem endless, not to have that sense of mortality and to have the sense of hope that comes from the two. That is the upside and for the downside, to not have the hard won experiences and survive till now. There is an old quote (inexact) "Live in the Now, Remembering the Past and Look hopefully to the Future." Whereas I will glimpse the past with fondness, I must live without clinging to those Halcyon Days.

I still am a kid and I will be a kid till I die. IF YOU BELIEVE, IT'S TRUE. IT'S TRUE. Just know the world might say your crazy and call the cops now.

I would be lying if i said i didnt miss being a kid. it's like reality only bring sadness, when i was a kid my dreams seemed much more realistic and obtainable i guess. i'm still chasing my dreams but it seems like responsibilities like working and paying rent are holding me back. not as much free time as i would like either. honestly i just miss the simple things, like playing tag with all my friends. growing up sucks lol.

I'm not sure if 15 is still considered a kid, but i'd much rather be 5 again. Feels like time flew by too fast, and it's only been 15 years so far. As great as being older is, I think it's better to be young and have fun. You can get away with more when you are little.
