Missing Bottom Toolbar
Posted 6/23/10
I was wondering what was going on, but I'm sure it'll be back soon in some way or other ^^

the bottom toolbar didn't affect the speed at all for me, and it was just simply more handy then the useless, messy favorites page. shinji must surely see all the complaints coming in!

I'd have to agree with the general consensus. I liked the toolbar being right there on any page, and I liked seeing when every episode would be released next all on one page.

Just addiny mt 2 cents to the pot. I also liked the toolbar and believe it should be made optional in profiles, and set to off by default so as not to screw up mobile users.

Personally I prefer the toolbar at the bottom. Much quicker easy navigation. Less buttons to click - call me lazy but I got use to it there.

Things are clear, users want their Bottom Bar back(me too), so please bring it back :)

EDIT:
i think with ajax and browser agent it should not be a problem, plus you can make it remove-able in the settings menu.

i really miss the bottom bar because the favorites page is horridly clunky, i believe it's now better to bookmark your favorite pages in the browser just because its faster. Very bad update for a webpage in my honest opinion.

Bring it back Admins? Are you just reading everyone's posts and ignoring us? This is about us, not you. We pay you, not the other way around.

I miss the bottom toobar, it was easy to keep track of my shows. I watch my shows on the computer, not a phone. Really, how many computer users are there compare to phone users and how many are in the US and other countries that need this change for their phones? Hate to nag, but this change has not been helpful to computer users. Anyhow, what ever happen to the "needs of the many, outweight the needs of one" or "few"!?

The problem with the bottom bar is it didn't work right on mobile browsers or the ipad. It infact gets in the way all the time driving people nuts on the mobile browser

I am a web developer and if the issue is with the whole ipad, and phone compatablity thing that can be solved pretty easily. All that is needed is some feature like one of the members posted where you can check or uncheck the option to have the userbar. Also another thing that can be done as well is having a separate sub domain for the ipad, iphone, or mobile phone users. For example mobi.crunchyroll.com, and on that sub domain the site could just have different features.

Why I think the user bar should be added again
- Site is browsed much more easily.
- There was a timer when the new episodes where going to be released.

Crunchyroll.com please think of it like this. Speed and accessibility is very important with websites, the new update took all that away. People will not want to use the website if its a hassle to get around the site. The last update was pretty much a backtrack in webdesign.
