a number of us still use standard 4:3 Monitors & and others have 16:9 wide screen monitors, and so on.
Me i have both but if you have a wide screen your gonna prefer the wide screen

So i think i like to see a Aspect Ratio override setting. which i know is possible i do it all the time on my videos on VLC (VideoLan). allot my old videos are still standard and i override it to 16:9 to fully use my wide screen. i think this add pro choose to those who prefer to watch it standard or to override it.

It be nice to have that feature.

Or Perhaps CR doing there self contain Software which contains that setting. (if so please do a wide OS Branch. not just windows I use Linux mostly also not like Hulu they mainly just used a huge flash player i think was stupid, and can take too much power on older systems in full screen. maybe something along the lines that was used to make the program on the iPods and iPones. they don't support flash. but have compatible formats to be read on them.)

if there a topic about this already sorry too lazy to look see if there is.

Also, if you pause the player and come back after 15 minutes, it won't resume. I hope they figure out a way to fix this, since it's REALLY annoying.

To my knowledge they are working on a way to resume streams so that the timeout won't be much of an issue, as for the aspect override, I don't think flash has the capability to do that, or if it does it would be too resource intensive.

The MegaVideo player can toggle 4:3 or 16:9, so it is technically possible with Flash.

The real question is why someone would want to screw up the original aspect ratio. This toggle is useful for MegaVideo because some videos get encoded in the wrong aspect ratio, but I have not seen that on CR.
