If you're planning on getting a Wii soon and you own a high def TV, I highly recommend getting a set of component cables for the system. It only increases the resolution from 480i to 480p, but that can mean a world of difference for games like Monster Hunter Tri. I recently bought a Wii and just used the regular composite cables and when I put in Monster Hunter, the TV kind of looked like it needed glasses; the picture was kinda blurry and some of the details were hard to see. I went and bought some component cables and it cleared the screen up quite a bit. You can get a set for only 15 bucks at Gamestop.

This is true for all video game consoles connected to a high definition t.v. With out component video cables or an hdmi cable, video games may seem slightly blurred with less detail.

I remember just like a week ago I found out how to play my 360 in Hi Def. Had no idea there was a switch on the cord that comes out of the XBOX that allows you to switch to Hi Def.....felt like sucha newb. But I havent played my Wii recently so IDK if its on Hi Def or not.

Ok Mario kart comes with a controler adapter. so 40 is a good price IF its used. a wii control is 20 and a used game is about 20 also. thats why I told you just to save an extra 10 and you could have it new.
PS. wii games if they're used are about 30. If you want cheap games go for the used DS games that can be about 10$

A PS3 controller new is $55. Wii is probably the cheapest current system around.

They sell the consoles at a loss to get you into whatever system it is, then make their profit off of accessories and games once you are locked into their product.

Not Nintendo. They never sell consoles at a loss. They do make a lot of money off games and accessories, but they make money off of consoles too.
