Even if I change the settings in my preferences. Are there any Japanese programs on this site that have Japanese Language subtitles? I saw in a demo video showing how High Def looks on CrunchyRoll. It had japanese subtitles so you could follow along with what they were saying. But all the actual content I've seen on the site has English subtitles. Is there any way to see Japanese subtitles? Thanks, Philip We currently only provide English subtitles but do hope to expand to providing other languages in the future. The Japanese subtitles only show up for the opening segments of some shows which show up on the original feeds in Japan. In short, you will not be able to select Japanese subtitles at this time.

Some Japanese subs would be pretty helpful for language learners and I feel like most Japanese media would have subtitles for the hearing impaired.

There are thousands of language learners out there who download raw anime today from various torrent sites and they would flock to crunchy-roll if you provided subtitles. I can guarantee that I would be a subscriber for life if you started providing providing Japanese subtitles for all your shows.
