I start with something like this:
guess 2 numbers that when u add together equals # and the same 2 numbers must multiplied to get # get it? after u find the answer, make up ur own so the next person can go the harder it is, the more fun 2 #s that add to 20 and multiplies to 64

2# that add up to 71 but times to 1258 take that!

37 and 34 two numbers adding to 100 and the product of them is 2176 PS: I laugh at those that actually use factoring for this. Sure its accurate but with a calculator you can do this alot faster.. 



32 and 68
2 # that add up to 60 product is 756 



18 and 42
2 numbers that add to 200 and the product of them is 9424 weee whhops i notice i was slow i'll do your problem are you sure that works... cause 39 is only divisable by 3 and 13 and itself. and 13 is divisable by 1 and 13. and 13 is too big to add anything to 12. And to do math for this you'll need 3 equations which you didnt give me.

for lindork's problem. there is no such answer.
i'm in accelerated math and tried the prblem for 5 min., there r no such answer for it. 



^ haha no offense, but accelerated math doesn't mean anything here. Most of the people in this thread are probably way beyond that level.
