On all the videos I play the picture runs slowly, but the audio runs at a normal speed.
This only started happening recently.
I keep reported for playback problems, but nothing changes.
What should I do?

I would start with the basic instructions at http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-627053/help-with-recent-video-playback-problems/ as they at the least will give us some information to go off of.

+1 for the first comment about slow video playback. Sound seems to be ok but video is lagging.

I am able to watch Bleach and Giant Killing episodes without problems (just double checked random episodes and the lastest ones), but Naruto and Fairy Tail have choppy video. I also noted, that past Naruto and Fairy tails episodes have the same problem even though I have successfully watched those episodes.

Unfortunately I'm too lazy to get my networking info as I know it is not the issue (successful viewing of other titles) and also I am pretty sure the issue is not with flash.

I first noticed this as an issue for me since Naruto episode 165, before that all was well. I am pretty sure this was before my FF 3.6.4 update.

Hoping for a speedy resolution

Thanks in advance

EDIT: I have cleared my cache for my browsers and flash and my flash version is 10.1.53.64

EDIT 2.0: Just for clarity's sake, I am having these exact same issues in FF and Chrome

Have you tried the update to Firefox 3.6.6, also do you have a firewall that might be interfering with "Plugin Container for Firefox" which is what actually runs the flash now as a crash safeguard. Whats your CPU usage look like on core 0 (the first core) of your processor when watching videos as I recall a problem where too much usage on just that core could cause video playback to fail (only show black) while subtitles and audio played fine.

Yes, that is what is happening. Single core maxing out immediately when video starts playing. I should have noted that before.

Have the latest FF running and anyway the same happens in Chrome.

What graphics card do you have, and what driver version do you have? Easiest way to get this information is to run the program named "Dxdiag" and go to the Display 1 tab and give the Drivers version the Device Name. If your graphics card is new enough, but doesn't have the drivers, you might be missing out on hardware accelerated decoding of the video, which would reduce CPU load.

Also make sure you have Video Smoothing turned off, and subtitle smoothing as well, as both of those slow down performance.

Updating my NVIDIA display drivers to the newest version sorted the issue. Most likely I was missing hardware acceleration because of old drivers, because after the update plugin-container.exe cpu usage dropped to ~30% for the one core.

Thank you very much aeular for your help.

Old driver info:
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
Driver Version: 6.14.0011.7824 (English)

New driver info:
Driver Version: 6.14.0012.5721 (English)

I looked on other anime sites and when I played the most resent episode of Bleach the speed was normal.
Crunchyroll is the only site that I access that seems to have pictures that lag behind the audio.
By the way I installed the latest version of Firefox and nothing changed.

If you have either an ATI or Nvidia graphics card you should try updating your drivers, also whats the utilization like on the first (or only) core of your processor while playing a video?
