I'd like to echo a request for this as well. I decided to renew a monthly membership with crunchyroll, but I don't think I've used it once since I renewed back in November. I think I'm going to cancel my account now because its just not as easy to use as I would like. Hulu and Netflix both have streaming anime and they have apps on my tv and blu-ray player making it much easier to deal with.

Hell even Plex which is completely free made a great app for the TV to use. I know its probably not super easy to develop, but I'm sure nothing worth doing is.

I have had my Samsung tv with IPTV service now over a year. This entire time I have been a paying premium member as well.

As much as we would all really love to see this app come to be. I do not think Crunchyroll has anyone actually working on it. They clearly have Android programmers because mobile devices and such are getting all the support. But this app for Samsung tv's has been in the desired list for over a year. It is still right now on the back burner with zero actual effort being made to make it happen.

Don't get me wrong. I know Crunchyroll would love to have it there. But they don't appear to have anyone actually able to do the effort to make it happen.

Yeah, I hear ya. I doubt they will do it either which is a shame since they have it on Vizio TV's. I unfortunately didn't feel like going through the hassles of using another device to watch crunchyroll so I just stopped using it because its inconvenient. If they ever decide to make the app, or figure out something simple then I'll immediately come back and start paying for it again.

Creating an app for the Samsung TVs shouldn't be horribly difficult, all of the SDK info is online for free at http://www.samsungdforum.com/. I picked up a 7000 series just last week and it's an awesome TV, but without a built-in app I'll be resorting to a HDMI cable to the PC instead

Provide support to someone from the community to do it would be ideal, less cost for them.

Realistically though, using HDMI from my EVGA 560 Ti is pretty much just as good (possibly better). The computer takes care of the pesky video decoding part, and 1080p just looks phenomenal on the TV that way.
