When people say "small" or "big" government, they are usually referring to the amount of government influence over the economy and civil liberties. They are very subjective terms though, as I mentioned earlier.

oh. i guess i kinda didn't got it on the first reading

I know our government is almost similar to America (republic-democracy type)

The problem is usually solved upward. I mean, the local government will try to solve it. If they can't they'll call the big boys in the national level.

You do realize that large private companies have that same pointless, complicated web of hierarchal management, right? If that's what makes an institution useless (which it doesn't), then every large business in the world is useless.

there's nothing wrong with small government. Look at San Marino. It's been independent and peaceful for like centuries!!

Big government breeds a lazy, uninformed mass of people who talk out of their asses and are far from revolutionary. And then wait until corruption sets in on your Big Brother!! oh hohoho!! Then you've got a real mess of megalomania and social darwinism.

Smaller government is the safest for the good of the people.

----------Dear sir remembers you need real people working in the private sector to support the government workers. The fewer job and government growth is a train wreck that will happen. Most the job in the US that benign added to the work force is government in the last two years. Did you know the government workers had a larger pay increase then non-government workers. Our debit is becoming larger than the GDP in one year will become greater soon. These depressions were in and the spending will make 1930 look like a recession. There are plenty of departments that can be removed IRS is one By the Fair tax system just get rid of the 18th amendment to the constitution. Theirs several hundred thousand job government jobs gone. The department of education needs to go or cut back. The war on drugs is silly a strong-boarded defense would take care of that. The moneys spent on prevent (9-11) this a waste and most has turned to pork project. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Yes, this string is miles longer than needed. Taking people that have saved companies from going bankrupt would perfect to instigate and cut the waist. Saving to large of corporation from incompetency is let them fail. As long as Corporation understands that, their so lager the government will come in with money in hand they will continue to make wreck less decisions. Here one thing a Guy named Clark Howard sais national talk show host on consumer affairs ( no one bank should control over 5% of the money or assent in America) When we got rid of banking across state line this was the fear bank getting so big they collapse. You can thank the house and seniti for that one. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------More Laws tighter regulation only hurt the good people. There will always be crooks large and small. This new Wall Street legislation will hurt everyone but the down and dirty. The attitude those against us are moronic at best. The CEO pay was set up after Chrysler went bankrupt set this wave off. They asked Lee Iacocca to straighten them out he wanted 17 million to do so. Everybody balk at his salary so the connected to his performance and stock prices. This is a will always be a conflict of interest long term over short term .So sort term fixes to cover long term needed fixes has been set in motion again Congress at its finest.
