I'm asking all the female users here at Crunchyroll. Where do you have to shave/pluck/wax/bleach/cut hair on your body? And does your ethnicity affect how much hair you remove?

For me my ethnicity definetly affects me when it comes to hair removal. I'm Eurasian (more specifically half Norwegian and half Bengali) and because of that my skin is a very light brown and my hair is a very dark brown. So all the hair on my body is much more visible because of that.

Personally I pluck/cut/shave my eyebrows. I shave the hair on my upper lip (I don't have a mustache, but the hair there is just so damn visible). I shave my legs, my thighs and my underarms. And I'm still only 13.

I know this is a weird question, but I'm curious (=^_^=)

If I was you I wouldn't shave your upper lip area. If you shave it'll make your hair much more thicker when it grow back and it'll grow faster. Just wax. Also, you know how you said you shave your legs and thighs, DO NOT SHAVE unless you are showing off your legs and thighs. That just a little hint so that you wouldn't have to keep on shaving.

Well for the best part waxing is better than shaving because FOR ME it makes my hair grow less faster and it doesnt irritate my skin. I don't deal with razor alot because even with shaving cream I don't want to risk cutting my leg I have to have a clean looking body. Because when I go clubbing I want to enter like this and once I take off the ninja dress I can be like lmfao

On me the hair on my upper lip actually doesn't grow out thicker. And I only do shave my legs and thighs if I'm gonna show them of. To much work to do it all the time

Oh smart. I know people who actually shav eit even if they aren't showing off their legs Well I am half middle eastern and latina, so ofc I'm expected to be hairy to the extreme but I'm not hairy to that extreeme. I do have hair in my upper lip area a little bit and alittle bit of hair in the area between the brows, sometime I shave those, lol when I can't wax. My legs and thighs I rarely shave them only if I show them off as well. I have some hair in my arm but no biggy

I also have a little hair between my brows , but I just pluck/shave it. I'm not really that hairy and I don't think you are either. Because everybody has hair between their eyebrows and on their upperlip. It's just that on some people it's invisible and on other people, like me and you, it's more visible.

Ah come on, even I pluck the hair between my eyebrows and she's right, waxing your legs and thighs is better than shaving, it's also smoother, and takes longer to grow back...but if your skin is sensitive then don't wax, you might bleed from it.
But you can also try the spray thing, where you spray it on your leg and then remove it after a minute...not sure what's the name of it hehe

I've actually been wanting to try the spray thing, it seems so convenient. Thank you for your advice :D

Yes but be very very careful! not to leave it on your legs for too long, because it might burn your legs!
Just follow the instructions! and do it in the shower if you can, so that if anything goes wrong, you'll have water right near you hehe

OMG, lalouse does that hair spray removal really work??? And if it does tell me which one you are using? The brand, and etc? I know certain things work best on certain people but still...

Hell yes it does :O
Listen, I would recommend Veet, it's a very good brand for all types of skins, and yes it does work but the hair needs to be a little bit long in order for the spray to reach it, and since you are half eastern half latin, so it's good for you, I'm sure it will work on you I'm half eastern myself hehe

Oh, that is awesome. Let me write that down. If it this does work, I'll reccomend it to my mother, who use this nair cream... I just don't liek that cream. It's so sticky for no dam reason, and it's smells like some kinda chemical that just makes you think it's really working on you and when you actually wipe it with a wet cloth only like a little bit of hair comes out

Oh well that's probably because it's not strong enough..you know there are certain creams and sprays for certain types of skins.
I'm a guy and my hair is obviously thicker than girl's hair, and Veet seem to work pretty good on me
Also the smell of veet is not bad, you also get this little piece of paper covered with oil to rub it on your skin after, and it smells really great besides you don't keep your legs without moisturizer, do you? :O I mean, use body oil or body lotion for great smell, shiny and healthy looking legs oh and by the way, if you ever want to shave your legs, then use natural olive oil on your skin and shave with it, the olive oil is fully rich with Vitamin E which is really great for the skin, it's also a natural moisturizer and keeps your leg smooth for a longer period of time than using shaving cream.
Also, if you can use a men's razor that includes 4 blades, it would cut the hair easier and better never use the 2 bladed razor.

Lol, I need to start replying instead of quoting now because we are making a long text of word. So olive oil is also good? No irritation to the skin? I use olive oil in my hair and I know is great for the skin but I never really tried it. Lol, I don't put any kinda lotion in my skin unless I'm showing off some skin lmfao. My skin isn't really all that dry though. SO, I'll try olive oil next time I shave and with the 4 blade razor. I'll try using it because the two blade razor is so dam annoyign and does not grasp as much hair as the 4 blade one, and I dont have to keep on taking the hair that get stuck to it. Also, I have a cousing who shaves and she tends to get ingrown hair when she shave, you know the cause. She shaves the right direction...

Lol it's alright XD we are sticking to the topic..olive oil is good for the hair yes but it's also very good for the skin.
And your friend has ingrowing hair because she shaves in the opposite direction of the hair which is what she's supposed to do, ingrowing hair is a common problem yes, but you see for every problem there is a solution, and there are certain creams that you can apply on your legs to prevent ingrowing hairs lol they aren't expensive.
As for you missy you still need to moisturize your skin even if your not showing it, dry or oily skin, all skins need moisture..trust me, your skin will love you for it. Besides when we grow older the skin becomes drier and drier, so it's better to start moisturizing it now than it's too late...

Yeah, I'll start keeping my skin moist at all times. Lol, now that we are talking about hair, I've been letting my head hair grow long Well it's already long but I want it at least one inch longer. I think long hair is beautiful and elegant. I'm not talking about really long hair like up to your ass. Just long hair up to you chest somethign like this.
She's beautiful don't you agree? She's my role model

Listen there's this shampoo that my mom is using, it's from Pantene, you should search for it, it's made specially long hair, if you don't find it then search for head and shoulders shampoo that's made to increase the time of hair growth, it worked on my mom's hair and now her hair reached her ass in just 2 months.
Also if you can brush your hair everyday before you sleep, do it, the brushing helps to pull the hair out and is supposed to help the hair to grow faster hehe
and I agree with you, she is pretty but check her out, her hair is beautiful and healthy :)
oh and also, if you'd like to have angelina jolie's shiny and silky hair, you should use baby powder on it and brush all the way down

Good girl haha XD
here's another helpful tip, wash your legs with warm water and clean them with soap BEFORE you shave, the warm water will open the pores and will make it easier to shave, then clean with soap to remove any dirt or dead skin so it will be easier to shave :)
Also, after your down shaving with natural olive oil, don't forget to clean your razor blade with cold water so your blade can stay sharp longer if you need any other tips please tell me I will be glad to help.

LMAO,I'm learning a lot. I'll search up the shampoo, I mean you are part middle eastern and so am I, and I have latina in me and they are just like those middle eastern people. I usually just put olive oil in my hair and wash my hair every 9 day, but try to maintain my hair as clean as possible and it been working. I also massage my scalp a lot, and even before I go to sleep I massage and sometime comb it . I also heard having a silk pillow case will allow your hair to grow long. A silk one...
Aishwarya Rai, you are a bollywood fanatic like me? BTW, the woman I put, Sushmita Sen won Aishwarya Rai for the miss universe title something like that mua hahaha

haha, aren't you *not* supposed to use multi-blade razors?

I just wax, usually. I have dozens of beautician family members.
