Why do everyone love japan and japanese people?
Posted 6/29/10
WAIT dont scroll down and answer yet... read this first.

I dont want to hear anything like "because its a different culture" (because there are so many other cultures who people arent obsessed about)
I dont want to hear something like "i just love everything about Japan" (because then you are already a brainwashed zombie and help is out of reach)

So what are your thoughts? why do japanese stuff have such an heavy impact on our minds?

Not everyone love's Japan and everything to do with it.
I myself think the countries okay & all, that's about it.
(Can't think of a reason, why?)

Not everybody loves Japan.

The only reason I can think of is that some people are weaboos and have forsaken their own culture for Japan's.

Not everybody loves Japan. But I love the world because God's creation and uniqueness is inetivable!!! Different culture, different people different food. God loves diversity and variation, and so do I!!!! and Japan should also be love!!!

I'm just keeping it real

I know not everyone loves it, it was a false proclaim, but you get the picture, just wanted to hear WHY people are obsessed with it, not how many.

Lets not mix in god in this discussion

You are clearly wrong, you live in a country known as "the melting pot" it doesn't get more diverse or varieted (are those even words?) than that. In fact, people seem to think japanese people dye their hair purple and everyone is different, but they are actually know for being a cookie cuttery people (noone wants to stand out(or does for that matter))

there is even a japanese saying that goes something like

"you dont want to be the nail sticking out, getting hammered in" or something like that, well the point; Dont be unique, follow the flow, and never create a scene...

i love japan and japanese culture. for me, it started because i liked the comic style of manga. i started learning the language and found i had a great aptitude for it. knowing you're good at something boosts confidence and made me like japanese even more. of all the languages and other cultures ive studied, Japanese was by far the easiest and most interesting for me, which is why i delight in listening to japanese music, eating/learning about japanese food, history, dramas, etc.

why does anime and manga has so big influence on people then? because before reading/watching anime i doubt people liked the japan (well there is always a few who did)

why do people escape into this reailty world? its kind of sad seeing people totally deteriorate because they lose the grip of reailty and whats really important...

I've been to Japan many, many times and can safely say it is seriously hyped up in anime. Its an amazing place yes, but so is Las Vegas. Catch my drift?

You are only seeing Japan through anime and its beautiful people such as actresses and actors, and people in bands which tend to be hotter people than the rest of the Japanese population. It doesn't mean everyone in Japan is hot.

People are too quick to assume that just because someone is Asian they will be hot.

As for the diet, most people I saw was eating Western-type foods. So yeah, their not all sushi and green tea either.

There's actual psychological terms for this. But the correct one is insanity.
