Well with the Spring shows coming to an end I figured we might start asking ourselves what will Crunchyroll bring us for the next season.

Not a huge number of shows coming (and I might miss a few, If someone has a handy dandy New Season Poster feel free to post it)

Here is what I know of coming

Shiki
Seikimatsu Occult Academy
Black Butler 2
Sekirei Season 2
High School of the Dead
Ookami-San to Shichinin
Black Rock Shooter

There is probably more shows coming but these are the ones I've heard of so far.

Of this lot I'm most interested in Shiki, Black Butler 2, and Black Rock Shooter

and I admit to a fondness for Zombie shows so I wouldn't mind High School of the Dead, though the previews are making it look a little too fan-servicey for my tastes...... however Zombies = Win so I'll probably watch it,

So what are you most looking forward to and someone please fill in any shows I've not listed.

and of Course what shows do you think Crunchy is going to get?

Shiki will most likely be subbed by Funimation, so it will not be taken by Crunchyroll

Shows that will be most likely taken by Crunchyroll:

Shokofuku no Campanella (mmv?)
Strike Witches 2 (season 1 is aired here)
Legend of the Legendary Heroes (TV Tokyo?)

I'd be really happy if Crunchyroll got Kuroshitsuji 2!!! Nurarihyon no Mago comes out in July too, it's bound to be an insteresting anime! It would be neat if Crunchyroll considered it as well!

This topic is essentially a duplicate of the following:

The Legend of the Legendary Heroes starts tomorrow (July 1, 2010), so unless you see an announcement tomorrow, either they will be getting it later in the season or not at all. FYI, 2 other anime series start tomorrow, and many of the remainder in the next week. See the topic linked to above for more information.

Strike Witches is actually at Funimation now (they are also handling the DVD release), and without the small streaming window it had here at CR.

I'm going to say Bakuman and The World Only God Knows and Code Geass Gaiden are what's got me hyped up right now.

Please, CR? <3

Take the most obscure anime this coming season and of those we will only have half the chance of seeing them here. Please prove me wrong!

Looks to me like Crunchyroll won't be getting anything this time out. Either that or it's common for them to wait until the last second. I'm not familiar enough with them like I should be.

They sometimes wait for the last second and on a few occasions the show has reached around episode 6 or 7 before they get it (releasing a new episode and 2 back episodes each week)

The Time block they need to fill I think is on Friday now that Daimaou is over.

I wouldn't really call this a duplicate with that topic, as thats the season in general and this is predictions for what CR is getting. It's pretty much a duplicate with one in the premium members forum, but that doesn't count.

Legend of the Legendary Heroes is pretty much the only extremely likely anime on CR this season.

Reasons:
-TV Tokyo
-CR has had ZEXCS anime in the past (Omamori Himari), so it seems they aren't opposed to it.
-CR seems to prefer longer series. With Legend of the Legendary Heroes being 26 eps, it fits. (CR had 4 of the 7 total 2-cour animes from last season, compared to 2 out of 13ish 1-cour animes)
-This is only an assumption, but does it take Durarara's timeslot?
-Genre seems to be something that CR wouldn't mind

As for Strike Witches, not only is it at Funimation, but the production studio has also changed to AIC... That being said, its possible CR could push for it and obtain it, but it's definitely not a "most likely" selection.

I'm not really sure on Shokofuku no Campanella, or if it even has any connections to mmv... But either way, I can't see it being a title that would attract many viewers, so CR may simply stay away from it.

As I posted in the premium forums, the other ones I think that are possible are
- Asobi ni Iku yo! (Seems similar to Omamori Himari, with a better plot...)
- Mitsudomoe (CR likes shows about little girls... Not sure about the studio though)
- Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin (I guess the genre was the reason Senkou no Night Raid wasn't here. )

I'd probably also add Nurarihyon no Mago (Shounen Jump series, 24 eps) and High School of the Dead (Because TAN has it) to the list of candidates.

When I checked on this last week, it appeared that the last time around they announced one series (Heroman) the day before the first epsiode, another two on the day they appeared, and only one (Uraboku) several days before the first episode.

The one notable difference is that last time they opened the "Spring 2010 Anime Lineup Coming Soon!" topic 8 days before the first series announcement. It seems rather obvious they are not going to do that this time. Also, I expect we will see no lineup with grey boxes and dates, or especially question marks. As you may recall, the number of the latter actually shrank as the days went on.

Personally, I am rather pessimistic about the prospects for this season. As I stated in the other topic, I would be more surprised if they announced 6 new series than a single new series this month. To clarify, I actually expect 2-3 series to be announced in July, wouldn't rule out 1 or 4 (though I think 4 is less likely than 1), but think 5 or 6 is rather unlikely.

Ok. Just wanted to make sure of what I didn't know.
