I was walking past this girl and our eyes met for a second or two. It was kinda a flirtatious "i like you" look ... Im not sure how to explain it, but when you see some <insert opposite sex here> and they look back at you with a very subtle mixture of shock and fluster usually accompanied with a somewhat delayed smile. Then after I walked past her she turned around and asked me "Excuse me, do you got a second?
I thought the girl was cute and i was just getting done with classes so I said "sure, i can spare some time" being somewhat nervous because some cute stranger girl just approached me out of nowhere ... and girls approaching guys just happens so
rarely
She then starts off with the phrase "My boyfriend is out of town and i was wondering ..." which to be honest, just about gave me a freaking heart attack ...
Then she follows it up with " my boyfriend says he went with some guy he didnt know last night and hung out with him ... is he gay if he hangs out with another guy he just met for a night at a party?"
At that point I was faced with the crushing weight of reality and I was so disappointed and preoccupied with that fact that I think I missed the entire encounter being a possible "flag"
I then asked her "Why would you think your boyfriend is gay if he hangs out with some random dude for a night" (because at that point i was certainly guilty of this too and im entirely straight :sweatingbullets:)
And she goes on to explain "Well, he told me yesterday that he met some guy at a party and then drove around and hung out with him until 3am. Could he be gay?"
I then went on to ask her something along the lines of "well ... when he is around, how often a week do you become "intimate" with him?"
She then spouted of some ridiculously high number I only wish I had the opportunity to achieve.
At which point I bluntly said "He's probably not gay. and if he is, oh well, you're attractive, you will manage to find someone else."
Then she rebutted with something along the lines of "but yadda yadda yadda" to which i responded "No, still not gay"
Then I said something along the lines of "so yea ... good luck with that" and started walked home reflecting upon how fast that girl managed to turn me into a super nervous wreck and then crash it with utter dissappointment. It took me a day afterward before I realized she could of been hitting on me
