Women are savages, and will gossip behind everybody's back, and though they tell you they'll keep it a secret, they never will.

Men are rational, humane, creatures. They will keep your secret to the grave. They don't even consider backstabbing you.

But more women need actual boyfriends, not boy'friends'.

Because most girls are bitches and only care about themselves, disenabling us from talking to each other about things. I don't want to be judged and always on guard, so I talk to guys who couldn't care less.

I feel kinda sorry for you all. I don't know what kind of biatches you've met but my girlfriends are great ^^
My closest friend right now is a girl and I can never imagine myself talking to a guy about the things I tell her. No way in hell O.O
Guys are great to talk with when you just wanna hang out and play around but if it's advice or feelings I wanna talk about I go to my girlfriends without a doubt!

personally i prefer to hang out with boys because they pay more attention than most girls i met. and girls get their feelings hurt VERY EASILY so i can't joke around freely. it gets UGLY when you hurt a girl's feelings.

I'm trying to figure out whether my "friends" were this insane when I was a teenager, or whether I just live in a different universe from everyone on this posting, but I can't relate to this at all.

I think when you get older, a lot of you are going to find that your friends become more individually distinct, rather than a really simple set of gender rules.

When I was in college, the majority of my friends were other women. Mostly, we were incredibly close, and confided in each other deeply. As we graduated, they were in a much greater rush than me to get married and have children, and didn't really want to hang around someone anymore who wasn't interested in those things. I see them once in a great while when someone has a birthday or another kid or something.

Most of my friends these days are men. They seem to separate their romantic relationships from their friendships better, without letting either one dominate the other, and I seem to have more in common with their interests and pursuits at this stage of life (32). I miss the ways I could communicate and be uniquely intimate with my girl friends, but I think that had more to do with where we were at in our lives- I don't know a lot of women that have truly close female friends at my age. The best I can manage is one or two at a time, and it really doesn't resemble the kind of relationships you have in your teens and early 20's at all.
