You know this "guilty pleasure" phrase which you use to describe your shameful love for cheesy games, unfunny sitcoms and horrible movies?
Most of the time those are disgraceful adaptations of videogames/comic books or remakes/reboots/sequels, which upset fans but loved by you. Here is my list of films I hate to love: Alien: Resurrection Constantine Resident Evil Resident Evil Apocalypse Tank Girl Johnny Mnemonic Maybe I'll update it... |

Sakigake!! Otokojuku. [Battlefield Baseball] Everything is awful... but it is so optimistic and it makes you smile when the character says, COME ON, be a man, YOU CAN DO IT. |

Batman and Robin, because it has something to do with nostalgia.
Because it has something to do with Alicia Silverstone and her tight leather costume. |

Glad to see I'm not the only one who loves these "classics". Some other movies I hate to love are: -The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen -Ultraviolet -Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever -Torque -xXx: State of the Union |

I dunno what's good about that. Maybe steampunk themes with cool submarine? Anyway, the whole idea of Dorian Gray, Mina Harker and Capt. Nemo in a graphic novel is already outrageous, so I doubt they ruined the movie. I spent 12 bucks on special edition of Ultraviolet thinking since it's by a man who made Equilibrium, then it should be good. Wroooong. This made no sense but man, do I love Milla Jovovich kicking asses? I'm defo watching Resident Evil 4! I never know if I should mention Watchmen in those lists coz I watched the Ultimate Cut 100 times hating almost every character in it and drinking booz without paying attention to a lot of stuff. Also this picture is considered bad (it's not bad in my book though, just has a lot of flaws). |

I still don't regret it. Oh yeah, speaking of films I hate to love, I'll just leave this here: ![]() I'm not proud of this... well, maybe a little. |

Oh boy, totally forgot about this piece of *cool* junk.
Actually Aeon Flux has REALLY the worst story ever, but the main chick is way cooler than Milla. Probably because of outfits? These movies are the same actually and they came out the same time. I think you won't guess which movie is which from a screenshot of a totally high tech building Since I have nothing to do now, I'll spam this thread with movie "updates" The Spirit. Very very bad, makes no sense but has amazing Sin City-like visuals hence Frank Miller directing and kickass Eva Mendes. Scarlett Johansson was great too. The worst comicbook picture ever, but Poison Ivy.... Just Poison Ivy! Amazing! And YES! Horrible Max Payne with my Russkie sister Olga Kurylenko in *almost* cameo! I used to watch Tomb Raider films a lot, but they are not good and defo not bad/good. I am just a diehard fan of game series so probably I was out of my mind. Plus Jolie's multiple action roles are meh. |

I'm pretty sure there is a special place in hell reserved for people who enjoyed this movie.

The shoot-out at Croft manor (in all of it's absurdity) never ceases to amaze me. |

Probably my inner lesbian or my couch potato personality :w00t: Tomb Raider movies are as fun as Resident Evil movies. They are too bad to be good-bad, in my opinion. First film had kickass settings though. But second.... Where do I start? Submarine, shark scene, Stealth-like plane destroying itself... I don't know if X-Files: I want to believe sucks.... I'm a fan of the show and first motion picture but fat Mulder in the second one... *sighs* Speaking of shows. How can you not like THIS? ....and Hercules too! |

It actually was. I haven't seen it in years, but it had some really nice action scenes, a rather decent plot (Wikipedia claims it's based on Casablanca ) and Pam Anderson in a tight leather outfit. What's not to love? LadyVertz wrote: I don't know if X-Files: I want to believe sucks.... I loved "Fight the Future" (I didn't even knew what X-Files was back then), but I keep hearing bad things about the sequel. I'll probably watch it some day, if only for that Mulder and Scully kiss. |
