I thought the first episode was pretty cool. Sure theres alot of boobage, but i think the series will phase it out as the story progresses.

I loved it. It didnt waste anytime, its fast paced and with this kind of story it should be. The animations look great and the seiyu really did a good job putting over the emotions of the characters. Since i read the manga i know how things are gonna go so im looking forward to how they animate it.

I don't if I should but this you can legally stream it on http://www.theanimenetwork.com/

Already watched it. It was only the first episode, but so far I enjoy the animation and the voice actors are pretty decent as well. Makes me wonder what the English Dub will be like and will they be able to put in as much emotion? The main female character is pretty annoying, though.

she progress and grows up a lot through out the series because of the turn of events.,I have kept up to date with the manga and I have to say I am fairly pleased at what the animation studio is doing so far.

I highly doubt it, not because of the adult content but because that another site picked up the license rights to the series in order to stream it.

I expected more from the director of Death Note, but so far this is just Resident Evil, but without Milla Jovovich, which pretty much equals fail.

At least the show doesn' deny the fact that the plot is cliche, heck it even admits it.

Pardon me if im horribly wrong but. Is this plot really overused in anime? I mean only just anime...not movies or anything else.....I really cant recall a single anime that had a zombie apocolypse and people were trying to escape. Now I have been a person that normally avoids action/ sci fi just because im more of a comedy person so that could easily be the case.

But even if there were animes that used a zombie apocolypse plot.....did they occur during a school setting? Was it where they were just struggling to survive on a school roof?

So to me....this plot seemed original....as far as anime is concerned....but hey...I might be flat out wrong

Edit: Im just editing to show other reasons why I love this show.

1. It shows how the people can change so drastically...the biggest change was the 2 girls saying "We will be BFF forever!". Look how that ended up. This anime is perfectly showing the emotional state of everyone.

2. Right off the bat....we know that there was a love triangle involved. Its not too often in anime you see a childhood friend make a pinky promise to marry her friend and then in high school she likes someone else. To me thats emotional goodness right there.

3. The fight scenes werent ridiculous. Im glad this anime doesnt show the normal anime-style powered characters where they can do almost superhuman moves. The fights arent as great because they are showing it in the closest way to a normal human as possible.

4. Due to this type of plot....it would not be surprising to see even some of the main cast die off sooner or later. Due to this....the suspense in this anime will be great.....of course if you read the manga then bleh.

Now of course there are the people that don't like the ecchi. What do I say to this? It depends. (Even tho I welcome all ecchi). I can understand someone hating an ecchi moment if the moment went like this. Say its showing the main female lead....shes fighting a zombie....but for 5 seconds it zooms on her butt....so you can't tell how she is fighting. That is where you can say the ecchi moment is bad....the reason being you could not tell how the fighting was going on. (Tho I woulda loved it). Now here is an ecchi moment where you shouldnt really complain as much. (This type of ecchi was shown in every type of ecchi scene in the first episode....so all the ecchi scenes in the episode will apply to this). If main female lead if fighting a zombie....and she gets pushed back due to zombies strength....and then it shows upward angle for a panty shot. You dont complain about that due to how you KNEW that was going to happen....whether it showed her face....her back....or w/e.

So I guess this is what im getting at. If an ecchi scene makes you question yourself as to what just happened during that scene. Then you can have a legitimate complaint. However if it doesn't (Which this anime clearly lets you see what happened when it shows you an ecchi shot)....then I think the complaint doesnt have much merit other than personal bias. But hey....this rant of mine was just guessing at attempting to explain bad ecchi from good ecchi....so I have no idea

Either you admit to it or not, too many shows and movies have done the whole "zombie apocalypse" theme, changing the setting doesn't make it any different, nor does the genre. Unoriginality isn't a bad thing per say, but as long as the series has something to back it up, which this anime does.

Well since you did not say anything about animes using the zombie apocalypse card...Im gona assume it hasnt been used often in anime. Therefore its original as far as anime goes. And I do think setting matters....somewhat....it sets the whole mood for the anime....if this took place in Heaven or something...that would be different. If this was taking place in a remote island....that would be different too. If its taking place in a school like this is....Well there is a higher chance for emotional attachment due to how all the students might have known each other. Having this in a School Setting is practically ideal. It allows much more twists and turns to be had.

But hey...I havent seen any zombie flicks or anything of the sort so....I really wouldnt know whether im spewing crap or not. But yea you got a point
