This is where I'd like to shout "Great!", but I can't watch "Occult Academy" due to licensing limitations anyway (as usual).
Really folks, I'm getting sick of this... |

Well two shows is better then none. Was expecting no new shows since it seems Funi/Viz/Sentai is grabbing up all the new shows.

It seems CR is sticking to announcing shows the same day, or just one day before, they air. In response to all their problems with shifting "TBA's" last season, I guess.

I'm really glad to see Tono to Issho, I've been looking forward to it.
And, I'll be checking out Occult as well, but I hope CR gets more shows this season. It's is good to see other companies getting interested in simulcasts, but CR was the original, so they should have some form of "dibs" for that. I just don't think it's right that all the other companies just now decided simulcast were a good idea, and now they get all the shows to play on their crappy streaming players. If you're gonna take up all the shows, at least step up your video players. I hope CR gets Ookami-san and Amagami, but I haven't seen the licensed list, so I'm not sure what has and hasn't been licensed by others yet. Thanks CR for two new shows, and hopefully we'll get more. |

Is this website beeper friendly?

A little advance notice would be nice. If these 2 shows had been previewed i would not have canceled my membership. Very frustrating that ill probably have to wait a few weeks to put crunchyroll back in the budget.

As much as I'd like CR to get everything, business decidedly does not work that way. The Japanese publishers will give the show to whoever offers the best deal. Crunchyroll: Tono to Issho Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin Viz: Nurarihyon no Mago ADV: Highschool of the Dead Funimation: Shiki Kuroshitsuji 2 Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu Sekirei 2 Sengoku Basara 2 That leaves: Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi Amagami SS Shukufuku no Campanella Mitsudomoe Seitokai Yakuindomo Strike Witches 2 Asobi ni Iku yo! Plus stuff like Digimon and Osaka Hamlet and other things I doubt we'd see simulcast. |

Hi Michana, I live in the Netherlands Antillies so when hey refer to; This is available in Netherlands, I'm not sure if I have to count myself in it. If I have to then there must be a problem cause I see as I'm not available for these 2 animes.
If I'm not supposed to watch the, then it's ok ^-^ |
|
Thanks that you visit my channel ^-^

Well I'm not sure about the Antilles but the announcement says it's available in the Netherlands where I am yet it still gives me the not available in your territory notice. Either you screwed up in the announcement and you never arranged the rights or someone forgot to flick the all important access switch.

Pretty much everything I was planning on watching is being simulcast by someone (although I dont know what ADV is doing with HSD). I wish the Hulu quality was 720 or 1080 like crunchyroll for the Viz and Funimation shows.

Yay! Thank you for the new shows!

When licenses go to other sites, like Funimation, its just not as much fun. They seem to downplay the "simulcast"ing nature of the broadcasts. I don't have a good sense of how much time has passed since the show was aired in Japan verses when they start streaming. There's no "next episode in 3 days" countdown for the series. I'm not thinking to myself, ooo, its Tuesday, that means a new episode of xxx is coming out! I can't really tell if they're actually really simulcasting the shows. You can't tell at a glance which shows are "new" or which ones are catalog titles they decided to add just now. You kind of have to do a bit of research to figure any of that out. So, its always exciting to find a show that's coming to Crunchy Roll.

If you mean High School of the Dead, Anime Network will be streaming it: http://www.theanimenetwork.com/Anime/High-School-of-the-Dead/Info Hopefully you are in the U.S., as otherwise, no joy. |
