I believe in things I can touch and prove. People, science, and technology I can touch so I believe in it. No the earth did not just go poof. It formed after a couple million/billion years, but then again knowing you and your arguments this discussion is pointless. Your beliefs aren't going to change, and your going to start arguing again, etc. So can we lock this pointless thread??

As a non-believer, I have no belief or knowledge of how the universe came into existence. I don't know enough about physics in order to fully understand the various scientific theories as to how the universe came to be, and I have no reason to prefer one theory over the other because I don't really care how everything came into existence. It won't benefit me or anyone else to know how the universe came to be, and there is no way to prove beyond all doubt who's theory is correct, so why bother trying to figure out? There are plenty of issues in the world and phenomena in the universe that are affecting us right now that I feel deserve my attention more.

It doesn't sound like you're trying to understand, since you started off with your typical0 'I'm right, you're wrong" trolling remarks. It is impossible to understand something with that kind of mentality. If you really were that interested in learning about different belief systems, then just browse Wikipedia.

My own personal conviction is none of your "God Damned" business, and I'm not simply correct when I'm also right.
