If u were faced with the decision and u were on the 9th floor of a building and it was on fire would u burn to death or jump out the window?
there was a cotton factory that caught on fire a long time ago and 100 girls were left on the 9th floor about half of them jumped out the window half burned there was a ladder but it was 2 stories short (along time ago) not one girl tried to reach the ladder i wouldnt tired atleast cuz i was doomed either way
so what would u do?

I'd jump the hell off, I'd rather brake the shit out of my body in hopes of somehow living than suffer the painful fire burning away my flesh.

Improvise and try to put out most of the fire I guess (if Im still in my room in the place). Jumping out of a building that's 9 floors high is risky and chances are you're either be dead or critically hurt. if I had no other choice but to jump, I'll try to find something to shield me & brake my fall.

If I'm already on the 9th level, might as well make for the rooftop and wait there. Concrete buildings nowadays don't collapse from fire.
