just seen a "mini-mod" say to someone that he is an idiot for posting a new naruto thread. well I like what they are doing helping mods but calling someone stupid just because of this mistake for me is not right. everyone makes mistakes. I dont think you have any right to make this kind of judgments. you dont even know the person.

That's the kind of mini-modding I DON'T like. Not all mini-mods are like that, sorry someone was rude to you =/!

it was not to me. just really did not like how he treated that guy

i dont really care.
My take is I would rather have someone who wants to help
rather than want to make trouble.

~ Are "Mini mods" evil?
No. In most cases i would say the "Mini Mods" are pretty helpful and friend. But there are always those cases where "Mini Mods" are "not very nicely" spamming the thread to be closed... I've seen it happen in other forum... dont seem to happen in CR.
~ Are they actually helpful at all?
Yes, I think they are helpful, mods have their hands full most of the time, and Mini mods help pin point the problem sources in the forum so mods can quickly remove it.
~ Why would anyone hate mini mods?
The main reason I would think "Mini mods" are hated would be they get annoying, are just suck up to mods. Or To much of a goody two shoe... ( I've acuatully seen a person get made a "Mini mod" for trying to help to many noobs... )
~ Do you hate/like mini mods? Why?
I like "Mini mods" they make forums run smoother and make life on Mod's ez'er.
Keep up the good work Mini Mods! and regular mods of to ( of course )

~ Are "Mini mods" evil?
No I don't think so.

~ Are they actually helpful at all?
I think it depends. Some are probably just really annoying and trying to cause trouble while others actually do help.

~ Why would anyone hate mini mods?
For the same reasons they hate real mods, or maybe they consider them tattle-tales

~ Do you hate/like mini mods? Why?
I don't really feel anything for them either way. If they're helping the mods and crunchyroll out--then great and I don't have any problems with them. But if all they're doing is reporting their petty problems to mods who have better things to do then they should be banned or something.

Are "Mini mods" evil?
No, if they are really trying to help out

~ Are they actually helpful at all?
Yes, they prevent stupid discussion from progressing further, so others dont waste another 5 seconds of their precious time

~ Why would anyone hate mini mods?
they are exercising a real mod's power when they are just the same as the rest of us Crunchyrollers

~ Do you hate/like mini mods? Why?
i dont belong to either extremes. its a mini mod's problem if they want to be a mini mod. i certainly wont give another 5 seconds of my time to rant over their posts

They should be banned more than anybody else in CR.

1.) Yes, we know you are trying to help. But do you think posting something like "this is a duplicate thread" prevents people from still posting? I personally will post when I want to and I don't give a single damn if that's a duplicate thread or not.

2.) Your notification of duplicate posts and whatnots are the greatest spams on CR. They do not contribute to the topic, they are unwanted, unsolicited and definitely looks ugly on the first page especially when everybody else reply to it arguing whether the topic is duplicate or not, valid or not.... Just answer the fucking question!!

3.) If you really wanna help.. just report it to the real mods and be done with it. No need to let us know of what you did by things like "I think this is a duplicated thread. ~Reported". What the fuck!!! Are you just trying to advertise your hard work so that the mods will acknowledge you being suck ups? Well, just wait for another mod job opening and apply for it. Posting it there ruins even a good thread just because somebody decides to consider every new thread a duplicate thread.

And the saddest part is... the real mods don't even consider those posts as spam. Those posts don't contribute or relate to the topic at all!!

At least some 'minimods' learn the decency to say something about the topic first other than just telling that its an invalid thread. While others don't seem to do anything else but mark every single new thread an invalid thread even though sometimes they are not.

Get. A. Life, you bunch of butt lickers.

Edit:

"Enforce the rules"? Dont me laugh. Last time I check, only the real mods can enforce the rule. What you are trying to do is remind people of the rules. And it doesn't do any shit of a change. People will still do what they want to do unless it's the real mods that do something about it.

Personally, it makes me even want to contribute more to invalid threads seeing those "minimods" try so hard. You realize that the only way to kill an invalid thread is to report it and leave it the fuck alone.

Really, this is the only forum in the whole entire world that approves of mini modding. Many mods just find it annoying and ask you to stick with the report button instead of posting.

This thread is playing into the hands of the mini mods since the just want people to pay attention to them and think they are important on CR

Now, that I think about.. you're right. There's no such thing as bad publicity. There's just publicity. Those sly bunch of attention-craved, no-knowledge, CR-points-accumulating, spamming ass-lickers...

I shall stop posting now.

~ Are "Mini mods" evil?
No, they're helping the real mods, so they're not evil

~ Are they actually helpful at all?
Yes, I believe they are, at least for the real mods

~ Why would anyone hate mini mods?
Because they seems like such a wannabe

~ Do you hate/like mini mods? Why?
Nah, don't hate them, but sometimes it's a little annoying...

In my opinion, the 'mini-mods' shouldn't be promoted to real mod status because the motivation behind their 'help' is actually that of seeking praise from the moderators and administrator, thereby perpetuating self gain. When someone actively seeks praise from other people, their actions aren't sincere, and as a result, their work is shitty and biased.

I respect those who don't give a shit.
